Een fantastische uitvoering van dit mateloos populaire stuk van Smetana, verankerd in de Tsjechische genen. Wanneer je het kasteel van Orlik bezoekt, uitkijkt op de Moldau (Vltava) bij Orlik en dit stuk ergens in je hersenen afspeelt, kun je je voorstellen hoe de Moldau daar, voordat de rivier getemd werd door stuwen, tekeer kon gaan. Bedankt.

Happy Place indeed Terry! 13.34 mins of pure bliss! I can only imagine the number of hours Gert put in to prepare the registration and master this piece for us. And then still have the tremendous amount of energy and stamina to produce such a magnificent performance. He is certainly the Master, and will never have to ever visit the gym!

Excuse me but the Moldau=Vltava(it's a river running through Prague, our glorious colorful capital called Mother of the cities!)) and its only a part of Má Vlast, which means My Homeland. And thank you so much for your brilliant and gorgeous organ playing of our the most famous part of B. Smetanas' MY HOMELAND excellent composition !!!

Magnificent church, organist and assistant, Marjolein. I don't recall where I've heard the Bedřich Smetana played before, however, I did recognize some parts of the piece. I marvel at when Marjolein knows when to press the stop controls. God bless you both.
