3 skirts and 4 dresses later I am also de-stashing - I’m on dress #4 now and #5 is waiting to be cut. You inspired me to finally get some of the fabrics I’ve hoarded done up. Husband said to me last night ‘how many dresses and skirts are you going to make?! 😳 You have a closet full now!‘. Well, I have 3 huge plastic containers of fabric babe. 😂🤣🤭🤷‍♀

i loved the subtitles we got - a fruity finale LOL the fabric for the first skirt made your face look peachy-perfect LOL the tomato-jackie-dress is the most FUN project, i loved that one! do you know what would make the tomato-dress ABSOLUTELY perfect (in my book, it was quite perfect on you, already)?! FRILLS ON THE SEAM! LOL but not gathered, but pleated frills, that would look so cute. it was what my head jumped to when i saw you cut the facing for the hem, i thought you were making a little cutie frill for the tomato-dress omg i thought the toddler in the background was MINE and i constantly checked up on the kids because i thought they were teasing my baby haha fabricwise i liked the lemon-fabric the most, i guess, the dresspattern was not for my bodytype, though, i'd probably look better in the gingham dress (you looked great in both of them though) if i had to pick an absolute favourite - it would be either the polkadot dress or the tomato dress, if it only had the frill i desire all my dresses to have LOL 1 - polkadot, 2 - tomato, 3 - white skirt, 4 - lemon, 5 - gingham, 6 - colourful skirt, 7 - black top congrats on the 20k!

First I thought the lace slit skirt would be my favourite… then I thought, wow, well it’s the tomato Jackie. But THEN the shirt dress with the perfect godets! Das Tomaten-Kleid 🍅 Ich liebe den Schnitt und den coolen Stoff, hab ihn tatsächlich schon fast selbst gekauft 😍 2. Das rote Gingham Kleid ❤ Find ich super elegant, ich liebe diese 1950s Silhouette, hab mir grad selber einen schwarzen Gingham Full-Circle Rock genäht 3. Das klassische Kleid ⚫️⚪️ bei Polka Dot bin ich immer dabei 4. Leinen Wickel Top 〰️ Die Spitze find ich super schön 5. Boho Skirt 👩🏻‍🦳 Der Stoff sieht 1 zu 1 wie die selbstgenähten+gehäckelten Tischtücher meiner Urli aus, daher nur Platz 5 😅 6. Everyday dress 🍋 Super schöner Stoff, wahnsinnig elegant und steht dir sehr gut, aber meine Mutter trägt im Sommer ausschließlich Kleider dieser Art, deswegen würd ichs mir persönlich nicht machen, aber sie ist eine sehr elegante hübsche Frau, von daher kann ich nichts dagegen sagen 😊 7. Joyful Skirt 🧡🩷 mit Röcken in diesem Schnitt kann man mich leider jagen hahaha hab leider noch keinen gesehen, den ich wirklich vorteilhaft finde 😢 Bonus: Finds total schade, das der grün gestreifte Stoff nicht vernäht wurde, finde den suuuuuper schön und könnt ihn mir richtig gut als vintage Strand-Neckholder-Playsuit/Romper ähnliches Projekt vorstellen, aber das ist nur mein persönlicher Stil und was ich daraus machen würde, hätte ich die Skills dazu (in der Zukunft!). Freu mich den Stoff in einem zukünftigen Projekt zu sehen LG ^^

My two favorites are the tomato dress and the lemon dress. Those look amazing. My least favorite is the black scarf top: I think it would be better/more impactful without the lace. Also think the pink skirt would look better without the lace. (I love lace trim, just not as much on those two pieces, which, to me, have a clean modern silhouette so the lace doesn't seem to fit). But they are all very pretty!

Hi there! I’m currently making the Jackie dress in a linen fabric and I’m finding the fit of the top gape’s or like doesn’t like to sit flush… do you know what I can do to keep it closer to the chest? Does it need another dart in the top?

I do have a tip for that! It would be easier to explain via Etsy messenger if you want to contact me there, but basically: the key is to make the shoulder seams less angled (like they normally would follow the slope of your shoulder) and instead sew them rather flat. That keeps the armhole from becoming smaller and helps the neckline become more fitted. If that makes sense give it a go, otherwise please send me a message on Etsy ☺️
