Fukushima city immediately after the disaster (Day of the earthquake)

大地震のあと、福島市内の被害状況を捉えた映像。
映像の冒頭部分は、福島テレビ本社屋上に設置された情報カメラが映し出した地震の瞬間(震度5強)。
激しい揺れで、徐々に制御を失っていくカメラは、やがて、ぐるぐると驚くほどのスピートで回転し始める。この後、まもなくカメラは壊れ撮影不能となった。
地震のあと(午後3時すぎ)、街の中に出たスタッフは、壁が崩れ、内板がむき出しになった建物に遭遇した。路上には、崩れ落ちた壁の破片が散乱している。
雪が降り出す中、阿武隈急行の線路上には、緊急停車した車輛が、乗客を乗せたまま、身動きがとれなくなっている(午後3時半すぎ)。
県道3号線、県立福島工業高校(福島市森合小松原)付近では、救急車が物々しく通行し、停電により、信号機も消灯しており、さらに、その付近には、道路に大きな亀裂が走り、破裂した水道管から水が大量に噴き出しているところもあった。
福島県立図書館(福島市森合西養山)に向かうと、建物のドアやガラスが、いたるところ破損し、屋外に面した天井の一部分が崩落していた(午後4時半ごろ)。
さらに、図書館の北東方向に5Kmほど離れた、市の郊外にある福島学院大学・宮代キャンパス(福島市宮代乳児池)では、大きく損壊し、原型が判別できないほど崩れた校舎を目の当たりにする。

The video begins the moment when the information camera set up inside Fukushima TV's headquarters captures the earthquake. (Strong 5 on the JMA seismic intensity scale)
Unable to hold steady under violent shaking, the camera gradually loses stability and begins to spin faster and faster at an incredible speed.
Soon after, the camera breaks and is no longer able to record.
After the earthquake, (Past 3 p.m.) staff head out into the city where they encounter buildings with crumbling walls, stripped of an exterior, exposing their inner plates.
Collapsed wall pieces are scattered about on the road. As the snow begins to fall, the railroad cars of Abukuma Kyukoh(Express) stand still, rendering passengers immobile and trapping them inside. (Past 3:30 p.m.)
On prefectural road 3 near Fukushima Technical High School (Komatsubara Moriai, Fukushima city) ambulances loudly pass through.
Traffic lights are out due to the blackout and large cracks run along the road nearby, water pipes bursting out great volumes of water in some places.
Heading towards Fukushima Prefectural Library (Nishiyozan Moriai, Fukushima city) doors and glass of buildings are broken in areas, and a part of the roof had collapsed. (Around 4:30 p.m.)
Additionally, 5km northeast from the library on the outskirts of the city at the Miyashiro Campus of Fukushima College (Chigoike Miyashiro, Fukushima city), the buildings are largely destroyed that one would not be able to recognize its former state.
