I've been listening to this group for all of about a week & this song has already become a go-to stress reducer for me. It's like a Countrified mantra. And the irony is, from anyone else (other than maybe Dolly Parton?) I would likely have never given it a chance. Not my usual vein of interest, musically. I'm more into DM's hard Rock/Blues edge, though in general I fall harder for eclectic artists than one-trick ponies. DM may have hooked me w/ Oh Well & reeled me in w/ Red Button, etc., but it was songs like this, Glory Glory and their covers of You're So Vain, I Feel the Earth Move, I'll be There in the Morning, Homeward Bound, etc. that keep me coming back over & over.

I'm loving the harmonies and lyrics in this song. It's also very heartening to see the versatility in the original songs you young ladies produce. This has a very simple yet effective melody that lodges quickly in the head. This is up there with the Siren Song. Well done Orláith, Mollie and Mamie Move over rover and let Dea Matrona take over.

@@pauldavis4072 i totally agree, their ability to switch styles effortlessly & seamlessly keeps me coming back for more! from punk teenage kicks to country/folk to classic/hard rock to rory gallaghers sliding blues to the roots of heavy metal they've got it covered & their own unique things & sound, last night i had mollie's heartbreaker solo on a loop just amazed & hypnotized by what her vibrato & body language was expressing with the strings echoing & the emotion & passion burning in every note & bend & the spaces between! speaking of solos, how about orly's blazing lindsey buckingham tones on go your own way, st georges market & portico of ards are the best i found, never seen a band do what they can with the bass & 6 string guitar slinger swapping, it's a massive trademark that's really appealing, just like how their voices can blend & harmonize or take the lead! can't wait to hear red button on friday!
