A really good song: interesting tempo changes to match the lyrics; well-played; and nicely sung. Still not a big fan of constant quick-video cuts, but that's just me. A few of those quickies goes a long way. Too many, and I start to lose focus on the music as I'm trying to keep up with the visuals. An overdone video technique, but, great music!

Ok, I just recently came across this band and have watched many of their busking cover song videos but this is the first time I’ve listened to an original song of theirs and I’M IMPRESSED! I teach music to kids and I’m constantly depressed by how much popular music has really turned to crap over the past couple of decades but now I’m rooting for these girls to become HUGE and inspire a new generation of GOOD music!

yep they have great talent they have a timeless sound like Abba songs that stay with you in your head . Voices blend together so well and tempo changes plus a great soothing backing vocals . Not easy to do and produce .

This track and this video are really fantastic. When I was a little boy, the British Invasion gave me The Beatles and The Rolling Stones (and others of course) to emulate, admire as well as enjoy. In Dea Matrona we have a wonderful "Invasion inversion"...a group of young musicians that boys can lose their hearts to while the girls can emulate and say "I think I wanna do that!" I've always believed that Rock And Roll is a wine best served young, and if there's a forward thinking executive out there, you're looking at the best vintage to come down the pike in decades! Somebody with influence needs to get behind these talented, exciting young women and save that sacred idiom we call Rock And Roll!

I would have to agree. While commercial industry promoters would likely want to produce this in a completely different way the angles of this song really showcase their influences and also bring a new original sound in a style I have not heard for forty years. I love this band!

so many tools now, tech ways, for kids to create digital audio, most of it is mundane and a bit like paint by numbers with no innate musical knowledge - kick beat then crescendo lol. It is great to see kids with a love for their instruments and playing them live. Great to see they are using the yawn-down creatively and getting ready for when the gates open for live music :)

I love this band. It’s so good to see young people seriously into playing rock and roll. It helps that you started from your love of many of the bands I was into when I was growing up but your study of your influences has fed through to your original songs, none of which is derivative in the way that some of the successful 90s band’s songs were, drawing on the same influences. The unique twin front woman format with both playing bass or lead guitar is a major strength and the voices are brilliant both individually and harmonising. Mamie may have been at the front of the queue when you were looking for a drummer but she has justified her place in the band as much more than Mollie’s wee sister. I sent the EP to my sister (who, like me is in her early 60s) and she loves it.
