How does the Dead Air mount compare to the ASR in length and weight? In the video it looks like a pretty large mount.

Damn. I’d love to switch, but I already have 2 asr mounts for 2 Sakers and about 10 asr flash hiders on rifles. Be a little costly to switch.

What size spanner wrench do you use to tighten the key mo adapter

so basically use rugged pistons in silencerco octane 2 keep the nose of your pistol clean. and use dead air to keep your muzzle brake on your rifle and not in your can. LOL perfect looks like I'll have all the boys back together again soon

It's different---better is pretty much user preference. There's nothing wrong with the ASR, but if a guy mounts the can under the hand guard or has both SiCo and Dead Air cans, Key-Mo makes a whole lot of sense.

I just picked up my Obsidian 9 from you guys on Thursday. It was brought to my attention that the ASR mount fits the Obsidan 9 so I bought an ASR mount from you guys also haha. I don't believe the Key-Mo comes in an option that fits the Obsidian 9, but if it does... I would absolutely love to know. I'd run that on all my 300blk builds.

Nice! All of my rifles have DA breaks and flash hiders. now I can get a 5.56 saker without having to change mounts. cause it seems DA isn't coming out with a 5.56 can anytime soon.

MrGunman11 I love my Sandman s! Gonna hold off a while longer to see if there's a possibility of a 5.56mm coming out. Because of the 41f panic buying, the wait times are forever right now! I submitted a form 1 for a sbr back in early May, still waiting on it! So I'm in no rush to wait more.

No ping at all, the prongs are milled out slightly differently to prevent any of the traditional flash hider "ping"

Do you have on preference over the other? I know once in a while i hear something about ASR mounts and flying cans but i've personally not experienced that.

If I have a personal preference, it's KeyMo over ASR. The reason for that is I have some guys with cans tucked under the rail, and I shoot both SilencerCo and Dead Air rifle cans on my personal stuff... so it makes it much easier for me to have that flexibility.

But you've never had any ASR failures to suggest that there should be incentive to move away from the mounts?

@@5RWill, people will tell anything that makes them feel better about what they have or want. Usually it's user negligence. Asr is just fine. That being said....i prefer kymo because it fits under my rails.

@@TripAMD No worries man i run hellfire adapters on everything now with Area 419's system. Made the most sense considering the different brands of cans, now i can put any of them on any rifle.

If I already have four guns with saker mounts, and two are pinned and welded, and I have not had issues with the saker mounting system. Could I then take a sandman and put a saker mount on it and work. I'm wanting to get the new sandman k, but don't want to have to unpin my barrels and put a new muzzle device on all my barrels, which would get expensive.

Preston I'm in the same boat. I'm kind of wanting a sandman L but already have five rifles with asr mounts. Pretty sure buying five dead air brakes won't be cheap. Plus the kymo.

I know it’s not the most ideal, but what suppressor would you recommend for a sbr? Like 5-7” barrel in 5.56? Or would it be smarter (if only having one) to get a 30cal suppressor and use it for multiple guns?

I agree with Mike. i got an omega 300. use it on 300 blackout and ar. it is rated full auto and be able to use on 300 win mag (that is pretty big)
