@@fidelnikehernandez I put a Sierra 5 on backorder with Silencer Shop and waited a couple of months. I started getting jumpy so I called Silencer Shop and we switched my order to a Sandman-K and my eForm has now in process for a month. The reason I switched is if the pistol brace does happen and there are thousands of eForms submitted during the amnesty period the ATF will be backlogged for years. I wanted to be in front of that mess if it happens.

@@fidelnikehernandez haha. I understand. I am a lefty as well and I already have an OSS 7.62 that ports gas out the front of the can. I love it. So I bought the Dead Air Ebrake to add to the Sandman K whenever I get that hoping that it will vent some of the gas out the front. Plus I will be using it on a 5.56 with the 30 cal front cap. My Obsidian 45 can is very gassy and with a lot of rounds it gets very annoying as a lefty.

@@CyclingAddiction the e brake helps with gas if so I’ll get one for the Sierra I was gonna try a .30 cal front cap to help a lil but don’t wanna lose the flash hider cause you see no flash from it haven’t tried with nods tho

Dont think so, since the surefire mount is technically welded onto the end of the suppressor. Surefire would need to sell an adapter to fit the 1.375x24 thread pattern. However, if you google Surefire 1.375x24 adapter some companies will make their own and sell it.

How does this compare to a similar can (SiCo Saker 556K) and a budget-focused alternative (YHM Turbo 2)? I would love to see a comparison video.

I’m in the market and have chosen to go with the Sierra 5 only bc I’m running Dead Air mounts universally. Otherwise I would chose the Turbo 3 for $500.

I think the Turbo K is slightly shorter, and less baffles than S5 Turbo K lowers the concussion, but doesn't "silence" Turbo K is much noticeably heavier 17-4 steel vs Stellite. Stellite is high nickel stainless used in jets/rockets/racing exhaust

I like thr length. Almost like a K can. I think the Sandman E-brake would be fantastic on the Sierra -5. Looks best on that 10" SCAR-L. Love Dead Air for making this.
