I have one of these on my AKMS...you can shoot without hearing protection but I would still wear some if you were going to be shooting a couple hundred rounds. There is obviously a lot more post muzzle noise than what you'll get from subsonic 300BO. I have 2 300 SBRs, 1 with a griffen 30 sd-k and one with a DD wave DT...just don't expect a supressed AK to sound like those. All that said, I'm happy that I bought it, may try it on other 30 cals but for now I only have the M14L insert.

Thanks, great review. Picked mine up yesterday after a 6 month NFA sentence. Looking forward to running it. I do have to say that it seems a little loose fitting on my Zastava ZPAP M70 compared to all of my cans. Tightening with the wrench seems to help.
@smokedrugsallday Жыл бұрын
Did you use a adjustable gas piston on your m70 with the Wolverine or just ran it as is? I’m waiting for mine to clear NFA right now and am debating getting a kns gas piston.

I wonder if they'll come out with a "key-mo" adapter for this thing too (if you don't want to direct thread to your various hosts with flash hiders or brakes)

@ragedashboard63748 жыл бұрын
that's pretty darn cool. Though, for that price I'd expect some titanium.
@tdel86138 жыл бұрын
Hopefully it drops down to $699 or so. $899 is too expensive IMO and the sales will probably represent that once the initial purchases slow down.

As nice as titanium is as far as weight reduction it doesn't stand up very well to long strings of fire with high heat. If this was a can more aimed towards hunters then sure titanium is the way to go. But if you plan on doing mag dumps or own some full auto guns then titanium would be a waste of money.
@sxleong6 жыл бұрын
Ellijah Smith also stellite is very hard to machine so the price is justifiable.

I've seen lots of DA Wolverines hovering around 700. It would be sick if Energetic Armament and DA teamed up and made this thing out of that unobtanium steel that EA used on the Vox.

Do I need to buy a separate adapter to use on the giant threaded ring that goes around the barrels such as on the Arsenal SLR104 SBRs? Who do you guys use for AK work? Such as concentric threading, barrel cut and crowns, etc?

can this suppress 5.45x39?
@mtswint7 жыл бұрын
Aj Scungio III Yes it can since the bore of the suppressor is larger than the bore of an 74. One problem is that it will be louder with the 5.45mm because more gas will leave the suppressor. You'll have to wear hearing protection while shooting. I'm not sure if anyone made a video shooting the PBS 1 on an 74 yet.
@richs3477 жыл бұрын
Yeah that's what i'd like to know, i want to be able to use it on my AK47 and AK74 as well. Thinking about getting this specifically for dedicated suppressor for my AK's.

Outlawking29 Guns he is right, aks are very hard to suppress and the gas still bleeds out of the gas piston. Also mac proved it was borderline safe and don't really quiet as they claimed

Not bad at 136.?? Decimals. I predict it would be wiser to wait until you all work on lowering the decimal sounds to 100-120 decimals. For home defense purposes / operations that require stealth.
@Capitolarmory5 жыл бұрын
You can't get an AK under 120. 110 is VERY difficult for a 22 bolt gun... let alone an AK.
@Slash-is3yu5 жыл бұрын
Capitol Armory well then workin on a suppressor to go as low as 70 decimals - 80 decimals is wiser to wait for.
@Capitolarmory5 жыл бұрын
@@Slash-is3yu That's not possible for a gun shot. Breaking the speed of sound is over 140. A semiauto gun (action alone) is 115+, and a firing pin on a bolt gun is 104+. 70-80 decibels is fantasy land... that's not founded in reality.
@Slash-is3yu5 жыл бұрын
Capitol Armory you just said an ak bigger caliber and gun is able to go as low as 120 - 100 decimals....... You just said now it’s not possible. It’s possible. Your just not the person to do the work someone better then you. Someone more willing to.
@Capitolarmory5 жыл бұрын
@@Slash-is3yu No, that's not at all what I said. I was talking about the action noise alone... not the sound when firing. Two completely different things.
