great video, got stamp and Hybrid this week, have several rifles being threaded. Gun Smith has a different Slienerco product on a 7.62Nato and mentioned a muzzle break as being very beneficial. Made it sound like a standard product. This confused me. Perhaps he meant a ASR mount over a Muzzle Break which is on the muzzle? Was planning on direct threading the Hybird on each rifle and perhaps leaving the .46 end cap on full time. Fear of not remembering to replace it and shooting something too big for the hole. Just starting will figure it out.

Are the the only reasons to use the the fix barrel spacer is- non tilting pistols to 10mm and Pistol caliber carbines? I think I bought one for nothing since I was told you can't use a Fix barrel spacer and piston on a rifle.

It's a complex answer. On rifle calibers, you do not want to use the piston and fixed barrel spacer, as they aren't designed for that pressure. You can use it on pistol caliber systems, but it's overly complex when direct thread mounting systems have less moving pieces. It's "acceptable" but not something I generally recommend.

I'm no expert but I would. I had my front cap seize up on me to where I couldn't get it off no matter what I tried. Luckily SilencerCo is local to me and I took it to them and they got me taken care of.

I’m fairly new to suppressors and I don’t get how the ASR is considered a QD Mount if it needs to be threaded on and off? Also is it possible to use a surefire type qd mount?

First time buyer, I will be using it for 9mm, 5.56 and .308. Should it concern me that the baffles do not come out to clean? Or is this an Internet myth that baffles should come out. Thank you for the help.

They don't really need to be user serviceable, especially if it's a centerfire rifle can. The pressures from centerfire rifle shots clean out what needs to be cleaned out. Some buildup actually makes the suppressor quieter.

Dave is correct. You need to clean 22 cans, as they get lead buildup. Centerfire cans generally just get some carbon, which isn't really a big deal. It's kind of like cleaning dirt off of car tire treads... you can do it, but it's not really going to accomplish anything.

What is the available options for the quickest one handed mounting options other than direct thread due to possibly mounting to a 14.5" upper with a welded muzzle device. Will also want to go to different host weapons so I will have the same muzzle device on host centerfire rifle's,

For real "One handed" direct thread is the option... other than that it's the ASR mount. You could do it one handed just fine, but it does require the locking ring to be turned.

It should have come with the booster housing. It's screwed into the rear of the suppressor in the box and the 5/8x direct thread mount is off to the side.

For now, folks using this on an AR platform looking to run the ASR Q.D. Mount with the Hybrid, are limited to using SilencerCo muzzle brake only correct? So essentially this Hybrid using an ASR mount will not work with any other muzzle brakes correct? For someone who shoots mostly unsuppressed, having my favorite muzzle brake is more important. Any options out there? will the Lantac Dragon muzzle brake work?

I recently got my omega 45k stamp. SilencerCo says I need the fixed spacer part to use on my cz scorpion 9 mm. Are there other options besides the spacer they sell? Thanks

You would need either the fixed barrel spacer or a fixed barrel mount for direct thread options. If you wanted to do QD, there's both 3 lug and the Alpha ASR mount that would work.

I've been waiting all week for y'all to upload this video! You have the best, no-nonsense informational videos I've found so far for every product you've uploaded a video for! I've been planning to buy an Omega for a year and just completed the last steps to finalize my trust on Wednesday. Only have a few questions. Now that the Hybrid is out, what would you recommend for a first time suppressor buyer between the Omega and the Hybrid for use on an 8.5" .300 BLK, some 5.56 SBRs, and a 20" AR-10? Does the increased size of the Hybrid help to tame the noise a little better than the Omega? And if so, would that, along with the Hybrid's ability to be potentially used on larger caliber platforms down the road make it a better buy regardless of the added length and weight? I'd probably be using the ASR mount for all platforms. Thanks in advance!

Whoops, scratch the weight factor. Just saw that the Hybrid is .2 ounces lighter than the Omega. Does this mean it's less durable?

Durability between the Hybrid and Omega is pretty much the same, the Hybrid is basically a big Omega. The Hybrid also can cost more when purchasing accessories. Really comes down to if you want to use it on hand guns or large bore calibers. Both are good--- the decision really is just personal preference... I don't think you could go wrong with either.

There's no need to clean centerfire suppressors really. Only cleaning required is from lead, generally cast ammo or 22LR.

Different cans. To me, the Optimus is a overbuilt 9mm suppressor that can stay smaller but sacrifices dB reduction a bit. The Hybrid is more of a large centerfire rifle can. (Big Omega) Hybrid is bigger, but doesn't sacrifice performance.
