So aside the fact this song and video is beautiful in so many ways and hit home for me at 32 the same way "I Never Wanted To" and "You're Not Alone" hit me when i was 16 and still in high school walking alone on tree lined streets in my hometown, as a guitarist seeing a SG with a Tele neck/headstock, let alone tele pickups and a bigsby, totally threw me for a loop and is something I never realized existed but now know I really want. Definitely one of the best songs ever in my opinion. My favorite song right now.I always took it as ballad or dealing with depression, but this is a totally different perspective which probably needs to be said with all the problems we have with drugs today. And overall I’ve said this before with this band they are saying things that need to be said nobody is talking about addiction at least on the radio! They are talking about all the BS that we have to put up put up with lame politicians and I could go on and on, and yes I do feel like a Dead American sometimes because of the country I love is in such a spiral downfall right now I know we can do better. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way about these songs. They help me get through every day. Thank you Dead American love you guys!
