Edwin’s scream got to me, he was already in “physical” pain being tortured by Esther and then he’s facing emotional pain seeing one of his close friends die right in front of him. Super well done

Edwin screaming for nikos death was the best scene in the show for me because it was soooo real. I thought immediately “no way they are killing off the BEST detective” lol. Nikos character is so fun and bright. A nice contrast to the rest of the series so if they don’t make her a permanent member of the dead boy detective agency I WILL be storming the Netflix building!

The most heartbreaking thing that happened in the 8th episode for me was what happened in the time of Niko’s death, because she just sacrificed herself to save Crystal, and Edwin’s just watching all of this, unable to do anything while in pain and strapped down 😭😭💔

No but fr I know that George is a new actor but Gods Damn it he Deserves some kind of an award for his acting in this show. He played Edwin p e r f e c t l y, both in the scenes where he gets to be sassy and snarky, nailing the mannerisms, as well as in those dark and emotional scenes like the stairway or this one.

While they never said it explicitly, I assume Jenny being able to see the boys towards the end of the series was due to her possession by David. Niko, of course, had a near death experience which allowed her to see them. I also liked how the ghost mythology from Dead Boys is also present in Ghosts, both sets of ghosts not understanding how they can walk through walls but never fall through floors. Whatever the status is of Niko it is a sweet cliffhanger for season two.

I will say the difference in appearances, accents and what age I think the actors are vs the characters is wild. Jayden is exactly the sae age as Charles, while Yuyu is Niko's big sister!

I wasn't actually sad about Niko's death, I knew it was coming because of the magic 8 ball, and two of the main characters are literally ghosts, so I knew this wouldn't be the last we'd see of her.

Hate Netflix for cancelling this show. (And a hell of a lot others. Seriously, Netflix is just desperation. Loving our despair for our series Also can we appriciate Edwin's scream. Hell made his soul stronger, but with the pain of Esthers torture and now the emotional pain from losing one of his only friends. He doesn't have a lot. She died while saving him and he can't do anything. Not only that, if she stays in this world, she can get in the same trouble he and Charlie are in. Captured and tortured by Esther. If she really moves on, he can't escape from Death, someone he is running for 30 years now. He is powerless to do anything. Even when Charlie comes and they are forced to leave, its so heartbreaking. They don't want to leave Niko. You can hear her heartbeat still. She is still a little alive, but magical wounds are probably not able to be health so calling the ambulance isn't going to do anything. He knows how terrible it is to die and is forced to leave her alone at that moment. because of Death. Something he didn't even do with Charlie, after just escaping hell. He stayed until Charlie was dead and only later left.
