*The Unknown after some tests on the ptb:* - They massively nerfed Blurry Picture and only put a few % of its initial effect into the base kit. For what ? because. - Vanishing Box has become the umpteenth crappy add-on from this killer. 80% in the appearance time of clones prohibits you from using the add-on in question. It was a strong add-on, I agree, but 80% is way too much. WAY TOO MUCH. - The HUD is ridiculously too big. An icon concerning the M2 is almost useless, and the other two (teleportation availability time and decoys spawn timer) could be merged into a single icon. It's just ridiculous. - This edging-tech nerf makes the use of the M2 terribly slower: After launching a projectile, or having canceled the full charge of the UVX, your slowness will be multiplied more than the live version. Even your movement is outrageously slower, and as a regular player of this killer, I've felt it countless times. We were expecting a buff to its qol, reworks of 85% of the add-ons which serve absolutely NOTHING and cannot be synergized with each other + with perks, an improvement to its M2, with perhaps a longer duration of the Weakened effect, but also visual AND sound bug fixes (hello voicelines from the selection menu whose SFX is missing SINCE THE MIDCHAPTER BEFORE DND CHAPTER), but no. Let's stupidly and simply nerf a killer, when NO ONE asked for it. It's really the worst move on the part of BHVR that I've seen, and when I saw his name in the things planned for the ptb, I said to myself "Come on, this is going to be exactly a fix to the manner of the Knight when he left the PTB" __________________________________ And I won't dwell on Billy where his nerfs are stupid because they don't solve the things that really bother him, nor even the withdrawal of the S.merchant by making her as pathetic as Freddy without reimbursing the players. And I'm sorry, but everyone will continue to DC against her after her third rework. This midchapter is a failure. All the choices made are made with non-sens. And I'm not particularly looking forward to what they have planned for Pinhead...

2:29 as a bonified billy master I can say the overdrive nerfs were all good changes me and most if not all Billy's agree that overdrive was unnecessary but welcome, we all would've been happy with just having pure old Billy back but overdrive definitely made him a lot more viable outside of high high skill people. I will say overdrive is exceptionally more helpful than hurtful but a considerably annoying nitpick I have is with how often overdrive triggers it often messes up my curves if it so happens to trigger just at the wrong time or if I haven't properly adjusted my positioning to compensate for the speed on some tight curves such as getting through the pallet on a broken "L" loop like the kind you find on autohaven. Now to finish this tangent up with the first thing I said as a bonified billy master I can say the changes to overdrive and all the general basekit nerfs just being to overdrive being possibly the best thing I could hope to see considering my boy ended up in one of the worst dbd patches in history. Now as a bonified billy main I can say all the nerfs were healthy. Up until 2:48

If you are touched by the line while you are moving you get damaged. With the new change the drone will always be in scan mode instead of waiting a few seconds to activate but instead of having two lines is only one. She can still do cheap damage but hopefully it will be less frequently.

5:02 why? I don't understand you'd think the best thing to do would be make instant movement regainment basekit but no now you can't get insta movement at all. From removing edge tech to nerfing blurry photo it just seems like behaviors doing everything they can to keep hallucinations from being not only a good way to get around the map but also a strategic chase tool where if placed smartly can be used in future chases to end them quicker or set yourself up for off guard shots. There's a difference between shitty anti loop like Chucky's old scamper which was a good removal from behavior and good fun and interactive anti loop like unknowns teleport. Because if unkowns hallucinations are something of need of nerfing and controlling to not be able to be used efficiently in chase then god am i just scared for dredge players cause it's only a matter of time before behavior remembers they gave dredge the remnant ability.

This is literally the definition of "You don't know how good you have it". Killers ALWAYS complained about BHVR buffing survivors a little bit, even when in those same patches, killers got CRAZY basekit buffs like hooks respawning which makes saboing hooks almost useless as there will always be another hook within walking distance. Now however, these changes are actual fucking nerfs that, IMO, weren't deserved on killers like Billy, the Twins, and the Unknown. The fact that there were ZERO compensating buffs for billy and twins is a fucking crime, especially when Nurse (Who is still, after 8 YEARS, the most unfun killer to play against in high mmr) got nothing but slaps on the wrist and still dominates lobbies when played right. Billy is THE hardest killer to master. Stop nerfing him just because low ranks don't know how to play around his avoidable chainsaw that not only can't go through walls, but literally gets stuck on the tiniest shrub for no reason.

@@koeltalley4605 Nah he definitely was overdone. he needed a buff obviously after they gutted him. However they, in traditional BHVR fashion over did it and made him a little too strong. He's still a really hard killer to play, and this isn't reflective of perhaps the majority of billys, but in the higher end, where people pour 1000s of hours into only Billy which i have versed multiple... He was too strong. Maybe I could hold my own vaguely against one of those types of billys but my SoloQ lobby folded instantly.
