I like this a lot but it would be more like a tv show because with all the killers and do different worlds there to much plus there would be no license in it and if it was a movie it would be like 10 minimum scenes for every world when it could be a 20 minute scene with more detail

I feel like a Dead by Daylight series would work more with each episode having a different killer and focusing on different survivors. Like the first three episodes could have Dwight and Meg facing off against Trapper, Jake against the Wraith and Claudette against the Hillbilly.

There is already a movie called "the cabin in the woods", which the devs prolly took heavy inspiration from. If dbd ever made a movie it would be a worse copy since repairing gens is so freaking boring and looks very, very silly in the context. Hell, any "social experiment" film I can think of has better "trials" for the so called survivors, be it against paranormal or human enemies

Having a movie of dbd could have so much potential. I’d imagine the starting point being with a survivor and just following there daily life when they get into a car crash. They wake up surrounded by fog and see a figure. Walking towards it, they yell hello. The figure turns around revealing Oni with his blood red eyes and from there the survivor runs into the trial.

If it were a Netflix Series, with each episode being about a specific Survivor and Killer in the Trials with other Survivors we haven't seen aka the names in the Tome entries, with certain filler episodes about the Observer doing stuff every 3rd episode or so, then it'd actually be interesting. Hell, make the Observer the narrator for the episodes where he talks about the Survivors and Killers before the viewer is thrusted into the middle of a Trial or the beginning of one

This was actually a amazing trailer I loved how it pulled it all together from the trailers tied together to classy piano noises to go with Huntresses Lullaby to creepy voices and so many things that just made it so Intense, for example like the flickering on the artist’s Trailer was really clever with the music, I loved it keep up your work

So my idea for the film would be something like: The movie opens in the late 1600s, during a witch trial. A woman begs she is innocent, yet is still thrown to the water. As she sinks down and under the waves, a voice offers her revenge. She is not a witch, but The Entity has found her and wants to feast on some souls. The Witch rises above the waters and proceeds to murder all of those who put her on trial. Soon, a fog consumes her as she smiles down at the mangled corpses of her local townspeople. Fast forward to modern day, we are introduced to a young woman named Sky. She's not the brightest in college, maybe drinks a bit too much, but overall is an incredibly compassionate person. However, one subject Sky is incredibly passionate about is the history of magic - both fiction and nonfiction. Her mother would play games of potions and witchcraft when she was a child, convinced that magice HAD to be real. So naturally, Sky decides to focus her dissertation on the myths and legends about magic in the real world - unexplained events that could only be explained with the illogical. She knew it was nerdy, and kept her enthusiasm for the subject to herself out of embarrassment. Yet, one night, that embarrassment would soon turn into fear. A friend, Simon, tells her of something he once read on the internet. A incident in the late 1600s where a woman was able to rise above the water and use the waves like razor blades to cut down 8 people. This peaked Sky's interest immensely, and soon she fell down a rabbit hole trying to discover the truth. It was past midnight, and Sky was alone in the library. Notepads around her were filled with accounts from the same event that told slightly different stories. Some say there was a dark fog. Others claim a booming voice of unintelligible language was heard. The websites left more questions than answer - answers Sky needed to know to fill her final piece of work. This could be the thing that proves her worth. She could finally tell her siblings that she is capable of doing hard work and getting the results. But the Entity has other ideas. A voice calls out from behind Sky. She turns but sees no one. It wasn't a language she knew, rather a groan or a whisper of something animal-like. She turns back to her computer and continues reading. "Some say the woman was sentenced to the trial due to having an affair with one of the townsfolk. Yet other studies could assume that this was simply to protect the fact they tried to murder an innocent woman." Sky scoffs. She knows first-hand how it feels to be blamed for something you didn't do. If anything, she almost feels sorry for this supposed witch. Until she reads the part about limbs behind thrown about. The groans from behind call out again. This time, Sky jumps from her chair and turns around. She was certain that she felt someone breathing on her neck. It also feels like the room has gotten darker, despite all the lights remaining on. Sky ignores the warnings and continues with her research. She HAS to have an answer. Everything depends on this. It won't bring her brother back, nor will it do anything to solidify a future for her. But this research must mean that there's something more to this life. There has to be! She types away at her keyboard, putting the evergrowing chill down her spine to the fact she's focused. The lights in the room that grow dimmer must be down to the electrical bill for her college. Nothing more. She scrolls and scrolls, knowing her deadline tomorrow means this is the only chance she will get. The fog grows closer but it doesn't matter. The voice in her head tells her to keep going, to persue this lead and prove her worth. And that's when she sees something she had yet to find. A visual interpretation of this witch. Her hair is dark and blends into the mist around her. Bubbles on her skin and a bruised eye show the abuse she faced. And the streams if dark ink down her mouth and neck, as well as the splatters all over her body can only be one thing. Sky feels a sensation unlike anything she's felt before. A sense of dread that she shouldn't have seen this image. She shouldn't have seen the gaze of The Witch as she stares through the monitor. Sky reaches for the power button, yet a dark cloud of smoke grabs her arm. It pulls her back and into a deep pit of hell. Sky tries to scream, but is silenced by the density of the fog. "You’ll... Meet her.... Soon...." A voice whispers. And the only remains of Sky that sit in the library are her notebook and laptop, stained with black and red. Will Sky discover who The Witch is? Will she make it out of the realm? Who else has The Witch been able to summon to the realm? Find out next time on DBD MOVIE STUFF. (I made all of this up as I was typing lol please don't hate me)
