Dead by Daylight | The exclusive 1 day PTB Version of Haddonfield.

A really hard map for the HIllbilly. But still a lot of fun. This map was available in the very first PTB for just a couple hours before it was removed.
HOW TO PLAY ON THE TEST CLIENT:
Right-Click the Dead by Daylight Application in your Steam Library
Access Properties
Access the "Beta" Tab
Enter the password "DbdPublicBeta" (without quotes) in the Text Field
Click Check Code
Select "public-beta" from the dropdown
Restart Steam (not required, but this updates the UI properly and kicks off the download)

They added more soundtracks for when the killer chases you. I noticed it while playing against the trapper, nurse or wraith. I didn't hear it while playing against billy. Would be cool if they gave michael the halloween song as chasing soundtrack. It would also made sense :D

Maybe, but there's also tons of obstacles here too and the Nurse may end up smacking objects ( thanks autoaim! ) more often than she'd like. We'll have to see how she plays out!

That chainsaw attack at 5:26 was sick. The 2nd time you hooked Nea, 6:40-7:17, you camped her by not leaving the hook area. Once again after breaking the pallet at 8:08, Nea clearly runs toward the police car but you turn and camp the basement house with the hooked Dwight. You do the same darn thing when you hook Claudette, you camp within heartbeat range of the hook. Your 2nd story vantage point of the hatch was a smart play. The hatch standoff at the end was timed very well and could have gone either way. You may wish to include Spies from the shadows when you get a 3rd slot. Thank you for the video and stay cool.

He's not idiotic protecting hooked survivors though. He at least gives survivors a chance to save hooked people because he patrols the area, not stay directly in front of the survivor in need of help, unlike some noob killers.

So i camped her by not leaving the hook area? That would be true but I was chasing a dwight who stayed near the hooked survivor. I was just following him so he was the one who caused the nea to die. He could have run the other way (thats what I would do) so the other survivor could get her off the hook. At 8 mins I was chasing the nea but keep in mind that there is still another survivor running around, and i was expecting her to be near the basement. Im killer rank 3 so I assumed that I was playing against other rank 3s and they don't leave each other that often. Camping is in my opinion staying very close to the hook and not give the survivors any chance to get them off the hooks. And then theres still the survive with friends thing. If they were playing survive with friends they usually plan a distraction and escape plan. Im try harding i know but thats just my playstyle. I like to win but I don't get upset when I lose. I'm definetly gonna use spies on my hillbilly when i get the rank 3 version. I like to use brutal strength, agitation, spies and I was thinking about using the faster recovery perk from the Hillbilly. (if you watched my other video where you see me play the trapper with the try hard perks thats just my try ultra try hard killer build to deal with rank 1s XD. Thanks for watching!

If you guys want to have a better chance of playing this map you gotta try this:save up a shit load of bloodpoints in the normal game client, then go to this one and spend it all on 1 survivor/killer. If you're lucky you can get an offering that increases the chance of you being sent to this map. If it didnt happen just exit the test client, start it again and spen some more bloodpoints because they reset when you restart the game.

The hooks are now map specific instead of killer specific so if you play on the coldwind farm for example you'll see the hillbilly's hooks and on the mcmillan estate you'll see the trappers hooks.

I see what they meant when they said, that they want players to think differently every time they release new content. But seriously, even if you played well as the hillbilly I don't think that this map works well for the other killers. Even if some people say you can't really hide, there are so many places where the killer will not see you because there are so many objects in there. And it's too labyrinthine for the hillbilly & too bright to not see bear traps or the wraith. So... hm. Just my first opinion. Let's see how it feels to play on it.

It feels better than it looks tho. As trapper i think you should place traps in the small back entrances, or in tight hallways so the survivor cant escape. And imo the wraith is just useless.Don't like him at all.

This map is cool and all, but there's like no place to hide. Literally every turn the killer makes he will be able to see you if you're there or not. In the older maps you can hide in the grass/corn field & blend in to your surroundings. But on this new map you can't stop and hide, you gotta keep moving!

Yea i've been trying to get into the map again in the past 2 days. I've been restarting my game after every match to try and unlock offerings for the new map. I've tried rare offerings uncommon and common but no luck sadly :(. I'm just gonna go back to the main game and try to grind some more points for when they officialy release the dlc :D

The shrine of secrets is supposed to be a shop where you can buy new perks n stuff for survivors and kilers. You use those points to buy them. If you buy the same perk again you get 25k bloodpoints i think. But it's not working in the test client :(
