This is a really unique track. The chase layer is very fitting for a killer you’ll probably lose sight of often in chase. It wouldn’t make sense to have a traditional adrenaline pumping chase theme like Blight’s or Wesker’s. Wouldn’t fit a tiny little man like chucky. Not every chase theme needs to be the same. This one is still quite anxiety inducing, so great job from Michel.

I'd say the chase definitely conveys "He's a DOLL?!... And he's actually going to kill me!?" Very well. it sounds both terrifying but oddly whimsical in its confusion, as if being amazed by something, which definitely fits DbD's most unique killer yet.

I don’t know why so many comments are so quick to say the 4th layer/chase music is bad. I think it’s fantastic. Yeah, Chucky has always been somewhat comical and he is a doll, but he’s also a psychopathic serial killer. It’s not perfect, but it’s pretty awesome.

For me personally, the fourth layer is pretty decent, but no more. He's definitely not bad, but he's far from ideal. Its problem is that it loses to the first three layers, since they are really good and close to ideal. At least, it seems to me that most people think something like this.

The shift from Layer 2 to Layer 3 is the best part of this theme in my opinion. It's the literal music representation of something that appears innocent then reveals itself to be possessed by a homicidal madman when the child like tone is replaced by angry growling guitars.

Pretty sure that chase themes are intentionally made to sound different from the terror radius for gameplay purposes. It’s useful for survivors to instantly tell when the game has registered a chase or not, since bloodlust, perks and powers are affected by it.

I actually LOVE the chase music, I never try to take chase but with Chucky I almost do just to hear it, it's like Legion's, you just *want* to hear it It *perfectly* captures the in-game feeling of "Where is he? Should I keep running?" I mean it's pure Terror, like, *Literally* and it's so good

layer 3 literally feels like the stalking and beginning of a huge massacre, it's perfect. The final chase music leaves me a little bitter, I don't dislike it, but I would prefer something more similar to layer 3

They do that a lot. Build up the first layers in one way, and then go off the wall with the actual chase theme. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I don't really dislike Good Guy's chase theme, though - Much better than the obnoxious repetitive (and loud) themes from Resident Evil killers, and not as repetitive as Cenobite's.

The first 3 layers build up adrenaline and the fear of being caught and the chase music’s sudden shift indicates you’ve been spotted. All that build up and adrenaline of hiding from the killer and hoping you aren’t caught is gone and all you have to do is *run away*.

Instead of focusing on what is chucky , they move to their capacity to sneak through objects and ambush you with his slice and dice. Not all chase music should be similiar to the terror radius. This 4th layer has a lot of quality in terms of sound aswell.
