Man i'd pay good money just to see a full rehearsal with these guys. As an aspiring jam band musician myself, this kind of stuff is pure gold to me.

4:35 "It's Guitar Hero time." Wasn't expecting it to be LOSER ...but love that Bobby is encouraging John to shred. This is just so enjoyable to me in so many ways. You can see their professionalism and dedication to their craft. But also playfulness and affection for each other.

What's even better is that John casually acknowledges, "Oh, guitar hero time. Got it." I suspect that is a phrase they use regularly.

What I'd do to be a fly on the wall during a full Jerry-era rehearsal..... As someone who plays in a band, it is just so damn cool to see my musical idols rehearsing in a manner similar to how I approach it with my group. Can't get enough of this!

So many roads so many roads. In cover bands- my absolute favorite tune and solo time. Jerry’s period playing on this-with his Travis- could make a stone weep. Nicely done by JM.

Rhythm section? Oteil is arguably a more skilled bassist than Phil, and you still have billy and Mickey on drums here. Jeff has also been doing great

Am I the only one who thinks O'teil does nothing for this band?? It's just such weak sauce compared to how Phil handled the role.

@@MrYatesj1 I wasn't referring to his chops or voice, I was referring to his fit in this group. He just seems bored or just not givng the tunes what they need. Just an opinion, I'm open to you suggesting a recording you think has O'teil really shining on bass.

He ripped it up in San Fran last year but I hear what you are saying the entire band does not gel like the the Grateful Dead. D&C are a group of great players that don’t exceed the sum of their parts. Not a band that takes us to that magical place, but all really good musicians
