I'll never forget, I saw him in Richmond, VA, in December of 2004 (I think?), was there mostly because my friends and my girlfriend really wanted to see him, but my entire outlook about him changed that night. That was before he ditched his "Your Body Is a Wonderland" pop star stuff/persona, but my god he could play, and that was instantly obvious, especially during the improvised, unscripted music from that show. He really is among the best guitarists alive, easily.

my sister was 9 years older than me . She took me too my first and only dead show in 1995 is Washington DC, RFK stadium in June . Well , it was 2 days . But it seemed like a whole weekend. I had just turned 15 . My beloved Jenn passed suddenly in 2014 . I miss her so much , I turn to the Grateful Dead often .
