Another Robert Hunter classic, "Listen to the whistle of the evening train" Drink all day and rock all night. There would be no Grateful Dead with out him.

Lovely version of a classic and one of my favorites to hear at a show. Hard to believe this was 5 years ago already.

tough shoes to fill for the three men up front - Bobby singing Jerry - John playing Jerry and O playing Phil - very admirable job gents - especially that crescendo last jam - great energy - Jerry has to be smiling somewhere - the man is gone but the music lives on - the music never stopped ...

Nothing Jerry and Phil played was difficult. That doesn’t mean it wasn’t good, but it wasn’t hard.

I started listening to dead music when JM joined. If I had to pick I would choose dead and company over the original band.

Anyone else recall the strange "clown horn" sounds in drums/space with multiple people playing them? some of the more unique sounds i've heard in my 225 shows
@bluesriot23 жыл бұрын
what appeared to me to be a most unlikely deadhead, if one were to surmise by looks, was a guy on a job i was on in the 80's or 90's who shocked me when he said he was on the bus, and the last show he'd seen they were running around the stage with air tanks on their backs connected to air horns, sorry i missed those shows
@deadreckoning62882 жыл бұрын
During the early DeadCo tours Billy & Mickey had those rubber horns on stage for drums/space. It was much fun & I wish they still had those in the mix. Couple shows I saw Bill Walton up there tooting away. Hilarious!

Hes actually doing well on this one. I completely u understand what u are saying though. I've heard some others that didnt turn out so good. Bob's singing has always annoyed me every once in a while. Once in a while. No need to attack me. Jerry, Brent then Bob is how the singers rank in my eyes. Bob a lil bit better than Pig
