I have Exempt for a railroad. Sign drought. This summer I got very little. My favorite was S with line thru it meaning, no salt. I think it was a Colorado one and he had multiples for $5

I will also go through droughts - then it picks up rapidly. I’m in a drought right now.

0:17 I could be completely wrong about this, but in the area I’m from, (PA) there isn’t a difference. In fact, I frequently drive by a road, with a no outlet and dead end sign on THE SAME POLE! It’s insane to me that the municipality messed that up! Other than a couple odd streets out, every “road leading directly to… nothing…” in my area is a no outlet. Of course other township towards the south and/or west of the US know traffic law’s better, apparently. I was so excited to see you make a video on this, because no outlet streets, are the reason I got into signs! Why do I like going down no outlet streets? Not that you asked, but I have no clue. Today, my no outlet sign collection turned into an EVERY street sign collection! Now I have 7 no outlet signs, 1 dead end sign (because they aren’t common in the area) and a grand total collection of about 65 signs!

The MUTCD defines each in separate terms, and they don’t sound interchangeable, although some municipalities treat them as interchangeable. Glad that you liked the video!! I like going down any road that I’ve not been down before.

Do you have those Dead End/No Outlet signs that you may have seen in Ohio?(The rectangular ones that are similar size to street name signs)

I do not. I’ve also seen the DEAD END or NO OUTLET message tacked on the end of a street name sign, but I don’t have one of those either.

I got an idea for a sign wall: all of your non manually compliant signs (or signs that have something wrong with them that wouldn’t meet today’s standards)

"People could not figure out the meaning of the sign", ah, that is why America is so behind Europe in road signs and honestly everything else.
