Best pentatonic lead lines ever imo. So simple yet effective. Amazing song.

I'd put Blue Sky (Allman Brothers) right up there with it in terms of major pentatonic lead lines.

Used to listen to my dad and the boys cover this 30 years ago. Fell in love with music watching him play drums and sing. Now ive been drumming and singing for almost 30 years. Send me dead flowers by the U.S mail.

The first time I ever heard Dead Flowers was when I was about 8, with the rather unusual-sounding but melodic arrangement as well as Mick's vocals that somehow sound just a little bit off. I instantly fell in love with the song. But like a good drug, a good song after a while kinda stops hitting the mark exactly the same way it did the first time you hear it. Sometimes a good cover can bring a little bit of that song's magic back even in a way that the original can no longer do after you've heard it so many times. That's pretty much what's happening here. Well done.

Love it! BTW, saw Triumph many times back in the day ... You have the best t-shirt collection ...

BTW, I rode Triumphs for decades and wore that shirt with the company logo on it, and Triumph(the band) put on good shows in the '70s and '80s.

So basically the only real difference is with the D chord it's a little classic suspension dsus and back? Campfire version of course it's just strictly a d a g song?
@jamesjames9275 Жыл бұрын
There aren’t many pop songs that use the D without the sus stuff.
