Despite running out of things to do after end game which doesn't take long to beat. It's a really good game, I do wish the islands we're way bigger and had different varieties. Definitely would be better if they made a huge change or maybe a 2nd version. (I'm on console)

I never cared for co op or multiplayer since i wanted to be stranded deep not stranded together, instead of adding multi player i wish the devs would have polished up the game first such as add more ocean life to the game, the game seems too fake without lots of ocean life, and i also want more realism like the shrubs and palm trees reacting and moving to the wind yet they stay still like come on. Other than that of all survival games, this is the only one where a scenario of being stuck on an island could really happen. Now the boss fights are fake, but everything else you see is real. Also, I wish the day/night cycles didn’t go by so fast.

They need to update consol. Multiplayer is completely unplayable. Disconnects every 10 min. And nothing stays in crates for the 2nd player

They did update console very recently. PC is the same way. Multiplayer has been broken since day one and it remains the same. They honestly never should have introduced coop.

New Story, different endings, more items to find, more things to build, native attacks and fights, npcs to save, caves, more water creatures, more story content, surprises!!, random events to encounter, varying types of storms (typhoons!), insects, gorillas (more monsters!), more story elements...am I asking too much!? I'd pay again.

For me game has never been this broken in coop mode before. Can't play because second player get out of sync and starts to have all kinds of glitches (can't see same stuff as I do etc.) or disconnect. And our internet connection is fine, all other games work perfectly.

I love this game, however my friends game seemed to always glitch out and kick him when doing basic tasks, hopefully its fixed now

Too bad console didn't get a update. Still have my friend get the timed out stay alive disconnecting issue, storage boxes randomly move or hover when reload. Single player is fine but multiplayer lobby is bad. Oh well maybe one day they will fix it

@parzival5884 well it's been in early access for about how long? 8 years or so? I wouldn't call that a new game lol It's already old since development was so slow, and honestly the setting gets boring pretty quickly, even with user generated maps and mods But yeah I'd be cool with new content too, as long as it's entertaining and adds new regions

I remember never making it in this game. I remember watching Broadbent's custom island series that had fans submit islands for his playthrough. Outer Middle Show played this a little. After that, I just stopped playing. Never tried it with mods though. Might play again just to see how stupid I was playing

I played Stranded Deep, the atmosphere was pretty good, the music made it possible. But it was also a pretty depressing game, since you're alone all the time. Not gonna play it again.

Glad I could inspire! It's a chill game and it's very easy to watch as a viewer. IMO there's something to be said about having no HUD in a survival game.

Is there a map? No? That is why this game is dead. I think it would be great if they had an accurate sky that changed as your perspective did as you move around, that's how the oldest forms of open water navigation worked, but obviously they don't have any such thing. Which makes the whole concept of how they expect you to navigate more than a little dumb.

Yes, the game could have turned out much better, most likely because of the developers, it didn't. But all in all it's still fun and worth playing. I hope that in the future there will be a second part or a new version, from another studio, that will shine in full glory like The forest, Green hell or other games.

@@JustRobPlays I have never experienced Flying snakes, but I have with pigs. I wish they would add a bit more to the game for those who want to hang around longer and do stuff. Maybe some more exploration content where the islands are not copy and paste with basically the same things, or maybe some more boss mobs that are in the game but not important to the storyline of escaping. Also That "Megalodon is nothing giant, it just looks like a great white, where as the eel and the squid are giant. Would love to see a rework of the Megalodon, Overall I love the game it is one of those games that you can play for hours at a time just chilling :)
