This is a better guide than anything else I've seen. Seriously amazing, I wish you had a patreon Also could you give some examples of the „whispers“ that you used?

Bought the book so I could run some COC. I like your comments. Definitely about having a player “help” the keeper in a way. I’ll be checking the other video out!

Thank you for all the tips and tricks for running Dead Light. Hoping to run this for my friends as our first venture into Call of Cthulhu!

This is a super helpful and clear summary for someone (especially new keepers) to study before running this scenario. Thank you for the effort you put into making it!

The Haunting is another good introduction scenario for a new group.

Sick, dude! I reckon I’m going to run this for my group, since they’ll all be new to CoC

This is my first CoC scenario and I'll run it on Halloween this year. I'm really looking forward to that :) Wish me luck xD I'll post an update beneath this comment with how it went.

Following up! How did it go?

Follow-Up: It was fantastic! The video really helped me run the scenario and my players loved it. It was our first time playing CoC, but we have quite some experience with D&D. CoC generally is a really easy to understand system. My players loved the story. They found the reveal in Webb's cabin very disturbing and they were constantly scared of the light, ever since I let the first NPC disappear at the gas station (I ran that part like the video suggested). The mood was perfect for Halloween and two of my players already said they want to play again soon. Thanks for the video! Looking forward to other "How to Run" 's. They are really helpful :)

I am going to be running this for one of my campaigns very soon. (They are going to meet a fake psychic whom they have an antagonist relationship with.) I suspect several of my players might die because of this. I can't wait for your other videos. I have already ran The Haunting with them. In another group I ran Missed Dues. (Missed Dues is one of my favorite scenarios.)

Hmm, what a fun little session. I may keep this in a back pocket for a diversion when one of my players dies in Masks of Nyarlathotep, if the timing works out. It feels like it would be easy to swap out for a different location, especially if I lose a player in NY or London.

You could totally adapt Dead Light to either of those situations - maybe Emilia or a variation on her could even be your player's new PC!

This was a great summary - thank you very much. Does it matter how many player characters participate? I only have 1 player and wonder if this will work with an investigator and one player. Is it also okay to run it with just the introductory rules.

it could, possibly. i would suggest at least one more other player minimum

With the ritual you need a human sacrifice, how did Emilia perform the ritual ? who did she kill/sacrifice or did you change it so it just returned when the chant was done?
