Eyyyy Joe! I remember going to this place all the time when I was in high school. The place was so busy back then, crazy to see it in the condition it is in and with not as many people. The place is under new ownership so we shall see if it changes the future of the place. I'm surprised absolutely nobody was there when you went.

I've battled breast cancer stage 3 and I'm ever so grateful to still be here to talk about it. I do my best to stay strong and positive for my kids. But I still have my days but because I am stubborn I don't stay down too long but the best thing about all of this is it's brought me closer to God ☺ much peace and love to you Joe may God be with you always ❤

Hi Joe, ive had type 2 Diabeties for over 15 years and two months ago due to certian reasons i suffered an episode of DKA and nearly died. Due to them having to lower my BGL level so fast to save my life i now have permant nerve damage in my hands and legs and at times the pain gets to much. I totally understand your situation and i know how strong you are. The pain is challenging yet we must rise above this, no matter how hard and what keeps me going is the fact that there is always someone worse off than me in the world.

Diet is everything with diabetes, my husband was type 2, since we started a very strict diet of no processed or preservatives , of coarse no sugar, but only fresh meat, veggies and fresh fruit, he had been off all d-meds now for almost 2 years, wishing you all the best Joe, ; )

I think all the Malls are taking a HUGE hit because of the internet and online shopping. In Milwaukee (where I live) as a child back in the 70's and 80's, we used to go to the Grand Avenue Mall in downtown, actually, I remember seeing Santa there. This past summer while bicycling, I stopped there, and it's desolate.. Only big chain store there was Kohl's and TJ Maxx, I think they even changed the name to The Shoppes at Grand Avenue... In time, all things must die.. Thanks for sharing Joey, stay positive, keep your head up, and take care of yourself!! :) Love your videos brother! As a side note, I wonder how the Mall of America up in the twin cities are doing? Used to work there at Hot Topic back in the 90's.. Getting old sucks!

Happening to so many 'malls' here in the UK too...but we call them 'shopping centres' here..!! High rents retailers have to pay and on line shopping sure has enforced many shops/stores to close down..! The Antique store looked interesting...i wonder if you went back and had a chat with the guy and find out why or how he is surviving over the other 'modern' stores that are closing...it would be lovely to see some of those antiques in store.. and find out what his perspective is on the future of his store and if it will survive a few more years in the Mall...i know a lot of Antique Dealers also deal 'on-line' too....but would love to hear his story xx

Hi, hon,I hope you're on some medication for the diabetes. It doesn't always mean you have to go on insulin needles. I've been on non-insulin tablets for years. I do pray you get it under control. I enjoyed the tour around the mall, it was super-CREEPY although here in Perth our malls are very much in use and are VERY popular! I'm praying for you you and your mother's health. Yes Joe diabetes is no joke. My son has type 1 getting him to do what he has to has been a job. My mom had type 2 and unfortunately she couldn’t get it together. I lost her few months after I turned 40. I just turned 45 and I miss her more than ever 🥺. Thanks for sharing but I hope you can manage it correctly for yourself and most importantly for your wife/kids. The world needs you around Joe 🤍

Taking care of your diabetes it is crucial. My dad was stubborn & did not follow doctors orders properly. He was in & out of the hospital like a yo-yo the last few years of his life because of his diabetes & related issues.

Hey Joe, I'm sorry to hear of your difficulties with your health at present. Please don't push yourself to do content if it's going to be at a detriment to you though, your health must come first. I was thinking, what about home vlogs? like in the kitchen making food? I'm sure there's many of us (me included) that need inspiration or just motivation to cook, and i know your diet has significantly changed with the diabetes so you could use this new life journey to your advantage and do a thriving with diabetes type vlog. And maybe how you decompress after work/days off now, compared to a few years ago, like what routines have changed etc?.. Let's focus on the good Joe! I've been a follower & supporter of yours since 2018 (and a paying subscriber of the old channel), and I really want to see you do well, and just have some peace and happiness in your life. I remember seeing a video a while back, where they turned a mall into apartments, and I believe they had shops and eateries open for the residents. That would be a cool idea. As for age, it does get us. I used to walk, 4 to 6 miles a day. I remember I was power walking on a fitness trail by where I lived, and this guy who ran told me I had a better stride walking than he did running. Anyway, getting older, and my traumatic ankle break ended that. I still try to walk some, my dog won't let me do otherwise, but I sure miss those days.

Joey, I miss your videos. I have different health problems. One of them is diabetes. I take medicines, but it's really hard to keep the blood sugar down. I suffer more from osteoarthritis. Yup. I get it. Getting older, body malfunctions. I've got lots of problems to deal with and I'm not even 60 until next summer. Can't eat a lot of things, can't digest it. Can't walk without a cane. What the heck? What happened? Getting old n breaking down. 😏
