Thanks for sharing these battle reports. Both great to watch. I painted up a heap of minis for Legends of the Old West many moons ago, but sold them before getting to play. They would've worked brilliantly for this. Oh well, going to try to pick this up and see about painting some more! Cheers!

First of all, great video and very cool that you both enjoy this game. I just recently ordered the limited two player starter set and it will arrive somewhere next week. This looks like great fun and i was really in need of such a game after all the sci-fi games i played over the years........and i am currently watching Westworld (the series) and that also rekindled the flame 🙂

Nice table and a good "walk through" the rules. I have just bought the new DMH Redux and will build and paint the next few month but as I do have a myriade of western miniatures and two fitting towns already (we used to play a lot back in the days "The old West" by GW) I might start with the rules and hope they catch me. Not quite sure how much has changed but I assume the core rules are the same or at least similar.

Really enjoyed watching both vids. I have just finished my game board and played my first game (Lawmen vs Outlaws). Really looking forward to playing more, both at home and at the local club. Keep up the great work guys. Side question, how did you create the wagon tracks on your game board?

Awesome, the more players the better, i find the outlaws really dirty to play against haha 😀 let me know how you get on I create the tracks by mixing filler with paint and slapping it in, i then drag a cocktail stick through it once its started to cure 👍

Brilliant battle report really enjoyed it! I'm interested to know do you and your gaming group find that you use the Duck Back rules much? In my group be barely ever used to use it as we tended to quick shot or just not burn the card and activate normally. We found that because your opponent still gets to shoot you it simply wasn't worth doing unless you were horrendously outnumbered. This meant that a few of the cards in the deck and some of the gang special rules never got used, in particular the Pinkertons. We came up with a house rule whereby if you duck back and get completely out of sight the person doesn't get the single shot at you. It meant that people use this ability far more and also meant that the cards and gang special rules involving Duck Backs became far more useful. I'm just curious as I don't think in any of the three scenes played either of you Duck Back?

I know completely what you mean, we barely use it. It seems to only be useful when soneone declares say 2 shots at a model they need to kill to win. Like your idea though, either that or chucking another modifier at the shooter 👍
