Its wild watching your videos in 2024. Initially i was here for watching your fighting lion shenanigans when I first found your channel back in the day, then it was your insight on how the game flows and your general skill, then it was the gameplay (ESPECIALLY the illegal clips videos lol), now its a good mix of gameplay and insight because you know so much and are skilled enough that you use the most silly shit you can find to hit the funniest 1 in a MILLION clips and keep looking for things to get that feeling. I have a couple of destiny youtubers I follow for pvp content in general but you are by far my goto for general enjoyment. I can't seriously play crucible anymore because I hate fighting the same brainless to use shit every game and it not getting any better all the while bungie keeps saying they're trying to bring skill back to the crucible. I'm over it. I've got like 13 flawless runs under my belt and that's enough for me so we'll leave comp and trials for farming loot on flawed cards, 2-3 weekly alloys, and praying for an artifice armor class item drop on all 3 characters lol. But all and all keep it up Cammy.

I first found Cammy from the Defender Titan video he did in D1 where he used both Universal Remote (A strong exotic shotgun that used primary ammo) and a sniper with weapons of light to 1 shot body people. Good times.

I'm on series X and it's the 1st time I've actually enjoyed using it. DMT is rarely ever seen on any console because it's been horrendous but now DMT is somewhat usable and enjoyable

Y'know what'd help M&K Last Word and DMT a TON? Give me an Unflinching Hipfire mod for my armor. Chest slot. Reduces flinch while NOT aiming down sights with X element of weapon. That'd be such a welcome change imo, it'd help so much without making them broken or directly buffing them in particular.

Hey cammy, if you get a hunter cloak with calibarn, you should try it on pvp. If you pair it with the strand melee, after killing someone with said melee they not only ignite but they also spawn a tangle wich also explodes due to the ignition, resulting in a devastating 1hit AOE

Not going to lie, I found out that the invisible players glitch has been going on for a while. But for me personally, I never ran into that issue until the Final shape came out. Every other game has at least 1 person with that glitch and it really just kills PvP for me.

One of my friends is EVIL with Clones! Dudes got it down, he knows how to radar manip but he's pretty quick to find out the controller players! The drag to Clones with Reticle Friction can legit lose you gun fights!! Especially when someone like my mate has you sussed out. I'm positive to some of the people would've beaten him without locking onto the clone & having to readjust to shoot him. Deffo needs to be a way to reduce or turn it off!

Your roll sucks. Hip fire accuracy is noticeably better at 70 range. It definitely doesn't shoot beach balls like Igneous or some others, but with the proper roll and lots of practice and muscle memory, it's so vastly better than 120HCs and even 140HCs now. I never stopped using it through any nerfs, ~30k crucible kills

Range and stability are super important for hipfire since hipfire is 140 RPM and bloom kicks in with the faster pace. Your shots will feel so much more consistent if you invest a little into stability and range. I have 72 range, 47 stab, and 65 handling on my moving target one, and 70/50/60 on my vorpal one.

@@akilwalker69 so I recently read a huge article that was really in depth about how stats and aim work recently. It's a little dated, and I'm an MnK player anyway so I'm probably getting things wrong when specific to controller, but I'll share what I've learned anyway. The main things that make controller different from MnK are reticle friction and adhesion; these are the effects that (when moving your character or reticle) cause them to turn towards targets slightly and/or track targets they're already on. One thing that increasing the range on your gun does is increase the range at which these effects are applied. So more range on DMT is useful for this reason. DMT is also special in that it and TLW are the only guns I'm aware of that have crit prioritization in hipfire (unless this has been nerfed at some point in the last year or two). Aim assist (specifically "auto aim," sometimes known as "bullet bending" which I think comes from other games but not sure) works by moving the angle of your gun's shots towards the crit spot if your aim assist cone overlaps a crit hitbox, and towards another point around center of mass if that cone overlaps a body hitbox. If the gun is overlapping both (e.g. you're aiming for the chin), it'll favor going for the crit, but only if crit prioritization is on. This explains why it's often easier, for instance, to hit long-range Igneous Hammer crits when you're aiming slightly too high compared to aiming slightly too low (something that's bothered me for forever). Usually a gun must be ADS'd and within a certain range to benefit from crit prioritization, but DMT and TLW can do it from hipfire. What this means is that, up until the range where AA falloff starts to kick in, auto-aim will move hipfire shots from those two guns towards heads in situations where it would otherwise move those shots toward the body. So putting more range on DMT means that you'll benefit from that at longer ranges as well. (This is true on all input devices AFAIK.) As for stability, it has different benefits that are also worth investing in. In addition to all the aim-assist stuff, guns have some level of inaccuracy as well. This is often called the accuracy cone, which you can think of as a slight random angle applied to your shot after all of the other stuff that determines where it goes. For most guns, that angle gets bigger (and therefore worse) when you fire them continuously, especially in hipfire. DMT's catalyst has huge inbuilt bonuses that negate a lot of that (I don't think literally all of it, but can't remember offhand), but stability also reduces recoil and flinch, so it'll help you aim in that sense. Handling can still be worth it if you find yourself annoyed by relatively sluggish ADS speeds or you want to more quickly switch to a shotgun to clean up at closer ranges. Experiment a bit and figure out what you like best! I like Fitted Stock as the cheapest source of recoil direction, and previously went Fluted/Steady on my crafted one, but that was a while ago before I knew about the crit prioritization thing.
