Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball would become it's own spin-off series, with the sequel appearing on XBox 360, and the third installment appearing on Sony and Nintendo hardware.
A big feature in Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball, was in it's unlockable content. A wide array of swimwear and accessories can be bought and even given to others, by money won in beach volleyball games. Each character has it's own likes and dislikes, which exploited carefully, can have a positive impact in future volleyball match-ups. There is even an area to win and gamble your hard earned money, if beach volleyball with the female Dead or Alive characters gets too mundane.
Just be sure not to modify the attire and textures to make even it even more revealing. Tecmo really doesn't like you doing that...
