Been playing it today, it exceeded my expectations. Probably the best Robocop game we're ever gonna get, it reminds me a lot of "Terminator: Resistance," if you played that. They both do a great job of fan service, and serve as better sequels than some of the actual films.

Well now I've added re-watch this to my list too, it's been too long! Loved it so much as a kid (I'm not much younger than toonz) and would always make the noises walking around too.😅by far most iconic part to me was always the head turn before the rest of him, soo happy they modeled this after the original & not the remake. i learned recently that Robocop and the Terminator series take place in the same universe. Moreso that RoboCop is a direct prequel to the Terminator. Murphy's human mind that was merged with software upon his rebirth as RoboCop was eventually ‘married’ to Skynet, creating a chain reaction that made Skynet self-aware enough to effectively eliminate humanity and cause Judgement Day. And his physical form was basically the blueprint for the original terminator design. For the people asking how that's even possible, my answer to you is this: Wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff.

Like you, I saw Robocop at the cinema. Though I was 12. But also like you, it was a formative film. Posters, books, Fangoria magazines.. anything with RoboCop on it. So as soon as I saw your thumbnail in my feed, I was straight to it. Even more excited because I had no idea the game existed. Loved the video. Love the look of the game. Seems to fulfill the main criteria, but fundamentally it simply allows you to play at RoboCop, but as a grown up.

This game looks amazing. As an 80’s kid myself (I did not realise you are 3 years older than me, I thought I was older than you. I was born in 85) I’m a huge fan of RoboCop. I’ve been waiting for a game like this. The newer reboot films were ok, but nothing holds a candle to the original films.
