honestly, i dont think it is a dead mall, but obviously i dont think they are living the best era, and as in every other mall, there will be a decline in sales, for the moment, the mall is pretty alive which is an exception in an era were malls are dying more and more

I know, I just drove from St. Louis to that mall to see it which is like a 4 hour drive so I thought I would just add it in anyway

In his book "Grinding it Out", McDonald's founder Ray Kroc said that the Battlefield Mall in Springfield, MO had what he described as a "Taj Mahal"-like restaurant, with dining areas on 5 levels, decorated with fireplaces and such. Do you know anything about that, or what current space it might have been in? He could have been referring to the freestanding McD's on the outparcel, though. (McD stores as their own mall spaces began to disappear in the 1990s, with a preference for food court counters instead.)
