This channel has become my favorite reaction, all the emotions you feel, I feel the same watching it. This film is a mixture of sensations and emotions until the end. great performances from the cast and god when I saw it for the first time during the pandemic I had this film in my mind for a long time a great film! great reaction from both

Great reaction. The director, Peter Weir, has made some excellent films that study the themes displayed in this film.

The scene when Keating is talking about how everyone will eventually stop breathing and die, the camera focuses on Neil for several seconds. I didn't catch this foreshadowing until I started to watch reactions to this film. Great job, you two. I especially liked how hard you laughed when Neil tells Todd not to worry about his destroyed desk set since he'll be getting another one next year. One of the funniest lines in the film and one that often gets missed by reactors. By the way, rumor has it, that line was improvised by Robert Sean Leonard.

Dude... you dont jave to say something every 10 seconds. Its ok to stay quiet a little and juat watch the movie, listen to the dialogue, and let the scene play out and THEN say something. "React" doesnt mean audibly react constantly. Do you notice how your friend just ends up saying "mmm" a lot? Yeah. Just relax a little. I feel like youre commenting just to comment. If you talk and comment constantly it gets old and people lose interest. If you really watch the fil, take it in, listen to the dialogue, and comment every few minutes, its more interesting. Good luck.

I'm Asian so I hope you don't mind me asking if your parents pressured you in your choices growing up. Mine did, but not as bad as "Red Foreman/Clarence Boddicker" did in this movie tho lol.

That is creepy. I just asked ChatGPT to summarise the movie for me before watching this reaction. I felt called out in the first ten seconds of this haha.

The older I get, the less I sympathize with Neil's ultimate decision. He lies to his father and acts in the play. Fine, but after he is discovered and punished (by being sent to a different private school) instead of just accepting it, he chooses to kill himself. This is adolescent suicide fantasy - "They'll all understand when I am dead and they'll then be sorry." It is short-sighted and selfish. He has maybe 2 years left of high school, 4 years of undergrad, then 4 years of med school - all paid for by his father - before he starts medical practice (although maybe another few years before he gets out of residency and starts making actual money. It isn't that long, and it is significantly more secure than trying to be an actor - something he only became interested in a few months ago. Hell, after graduating from Harvard, if he didn't want to become a physician, he could defy his father then and would be equipped to make his way in the world because of the education he had been provided. The one thing that his father did wrong was to make a scene in public by yelling at Mr. Keating. If the reputation of his family was important, he should have graciously accepted the congratulations, then rebuke Neil at home. Also, his actions demonstrated a serious lack of 孝. I understand why the 鬼佬 wouldn't understand this, but I assume that you two get it.

wow, odd take indeed. * 10+ years* ...isn't that long? ...and to a teenager? * "They'll all understand when I am dead, and they'll then be sorry." ?? Earlier he said he wanted to act last year, but his dad wouldn't let him, and now that he finally has, he says, "For the first time in my whole life I know what I want to do". He's a teenager falling in love with something, maybe his suicide motive was, "I'd rather be dead than to give up my new passion and dreams" 💔

Definitely different take on this movie, you agree with the bad guy , did you watch avengers with thanos and cheer when he got rid of half life in the universe to give the living more resources.

I hope that there'll be no one in your life that will decide to kill themself. You actually sounds like his father if someone you know or close to you kills themselves then that's the time you will know.
