I live near a round one that still has museca and it is one of my favorites there. I adore games with unorthodox controls (groove coaster, wacca being the main 2 others) and this fits right in the mix. This game may be dead to most, but it will always have a special place in my heart for so many reasons

Service for the game was *Not removed from konami servers, there are museca cabs still online on the official servers in japan. :) They just switched it from the participation to the subscription eamuse model. Therefore you can still access your museca profile on the official museca website too.

Based on my experience with the game in a Round1, it has HORRIBLE first impression for people who are not used to rhythm games, let alone ones with language set to Japanese. The offline-mode would play numerous first-time-user intro and messages to everyone that takes a while to go through with some not being skippable and taking a while to get through. Not only that, it's easy to choose the mission mode instead of the free play, which won't allow user to switch to standard mode until the 3rd song. It's a fun game, but someone has to leave a note for other players.

I'm glad I found a machine here in PH. And it was really fun, really hard to do level 5/Medium difficulty but I've only technically played it 6 times so far and 2 of those were the medium difficulty while the other 4 times were just on easy mode cuz it's a bit of a new stretch of playing a rhythm game for me

the first time i went to my favorite arcade, múseca 1+1/2 was the first rhythm game i played, and it got me into the bemani series. a really fun game

I played this great at Free Play arcade and it was fun but very very difficult with all the spinning and stepping

Our local arcade has a machine and I picked up the game about 2 years ago. It still has a thriving community and I've met many of the top American players. I've played a lot of different rhythm games but this one is still in my top 5. As a drummania player, I personally really enjoy the foot pedal 😅.

IDK if it could cause copyright issues, but I'd love to see someone make a mobile spin of that, since it seems like Museca was made with a mobile focus in mind. Keeping the whole UI but making it a bit more mobile friendly, keeping the gameplay intact by adding touch buttons under the notes, changing the spin notes to flicks (IDK how the stronger spin would translate into touch controls, maybe continuous flicking?) and obviously removing the foot pedal thing. Keeping the Graphicas as something you can obtain on missions and/or turn it into a gacha could also work. IDK, just food for thought I guess.

What I don't like about this game was the lack of iLLiL Illustration / song jacket / grafica on the game its supposed to be a drawing-music game but the main character literally lacks of illustration, how many iLLiL Jacket are there? 1. The surprise anniversary update "Shocker Breaker" song was the first iLLiL Jacket a few months before they shutdown the game. kzbin.info/www/bejne/o3Swe51-iqx4e9k The museca 1 has confusing mission mechanics and really complicated for a non-native japanese. It feels like a gacha game on Museca 1. Konami removed the login bonus, Original Effect of Grafica, HP System and Story mode/grafica research in 1+1/2 and even remove the laserish-Flanger hit sound. I just hate whey they didn't update it anymore for like 6 months when there was still pending museca.compe songs for the game.. they put it on the last sec of the game I just wish they just put it on other bemani game instead of Museca if they planning to shutdown the game a month after the song update..the last 3 song on the offline kit iirc 2 of them was from the loctest song and never added to the game until the offline kit arrives. I was also disappointed on the revival updates like NEWGENERATION2016 where you can only play the songs for 1 month and it'll be gone after (that was my only chance to unlock them) , the grafica on the event rerun was not even available. but the game was still fun regardless..I personally think this is a cool game it just konami terribly handle the game.

there's 2 museca cabinets at my local japanese store and i can definitely see why it may not be so appealing to new players. first, the tutorial takes a very long time. not even due to the large amount of different note types, the space between the dialouges explaining the game is just unecessarily big. moreover, there are cutscenes (more or less just text accompanied by some pictures) that always play at the start explaining the grafica and stuff unless you have an e-amusement pass. despite all this, i still think it is a very fun game and it's a bit sad to see it die, although I don't *really* think the game needs any new content.

I used to play this game a lot! I loved collecting the art since I'm an artist and it was so nice to see new artstyles. The gameplay was also very simple and actually made me sweat at times so it was a nice arm work out. I live in the Philippines and I used to see this is almost every Quantum Power Station (the hub for rhythm games) I went to but now I hardly see them and if I do, its mostly offline :C I'll miss this game fr

the biggest cons for me is the W shaped judgment line which means top and bottom notes has this weird offset when running from top to bottom. it’s very hard to get used to

Got a cabinet in an arcade, I hope they don't get rid of it. It's honestly one of my favourite rhythm games currently and I just caught wind of it being dead :(.

Some malls have that booth enjoyed it even though somebody ruined one button where you have to spin it . As it's spin won't hit the spinner note.

While some people were enjoying Museca, the rest of the western rhythm game community wrote it off as a "rip off" of Neon FM
@viviantan10342 жыл бұрын
And frankly, Neon FM is older than Museca. But Museca has its twist though.
