Most Honest Review Here 1) Gun Mechanics are garbage. Just garbage. Almost useless. 2) I had more bugs and crashes than Assassins Creed Unity 3) It's NOT Frank West, liars 4) It's an exact replica of DR3 5) Dialogue for Frank West is a constant annoyance of bad jokes. 6) Psychopaths are no longer named such and have zero impact on the story. In fact they're no different than the bad survivors just with a better weapon and more HP. Did you like DR1's boss system and stories? Yea none of that's here. 7) You can't throw anything which was a HUGE part of DR1. Pick up a crap item and throw it at a zombie face. Well none of that here either. 8) No Survival Mode, including no ability to pick up big stuff and block doorways. 9) No challenge. Seriously, I beat every boss with whatever crap weapon I had in about 5 shots each. Shits gay. 10) Unlock Cool Moves to kill Zombies with LIKE in DR1? No you can't do that either. So what makes this game "Back to the roots of Dead Rising"? Well, nothing does. At all. You've got some hack trying to be Frank and the Devs having the Balls to tell us he's Frank. But there's no Frank in there. The Devs seem to think Dead Rising was about goofy ways to kill millions of Zombies. It wasnt. It was a Zombie RPG. And they've fucking destroyed every ounce of what made this Franchise good. I was only 2 hours into the game before I got bored and shut it off. You wanna bring back DR1? Fire this team of Focus Group Morons that are running the company into the ground and just Remaster the first game. WITH NO CHANGES other than graphically. By the way... The DR4 bugs are outta control. Enjoy the invisible following wall. I will say it does have a lot of good features.

even on high end pc, the Developers will not much put more efforts on graphics like what is now, instead not only thousands of zombies are going to be on screen, it will literally be 10,000 zombies to 20,000 of them will be on screen, like the first dead rising(not the most beautiful graphics but the best dead rising) it has only a couple hundred of zombies on your screen, dead rising 2 has thousands of zombies on your screen, dead rising 3 has 2x thousands of zombies on your screen and now dead rising 4 has about 5x thousands of zombies on your screen, if dead rising 4 was only for pc, the developers will forget about upgrading the graphics and leave it as it is and put 10x or more thousands of zombies on your screen more than ever, the dead rising series is known to it game, it story, it anything and everything is a weapons, and last but not least it know for how much zombies are on your screen.

I just don't get the complaining about the timer being gone. The timer is what ruined the game for me. I only played DR1, because I couldn't stomach a timer dictating my fun. If you wanna rush through a game, then do it, but don't force us to be rushed. You like dumping $40-$50 on a game to be rushed through it in 5 hours?

I've never understood the appeal of punishingly difficult games. I hated the original Dead Rising. I hate losing progress, I hate having to do meaningless tasks over and over, and I hate games that punish you for not being obsessively dedicated to them. I want to kill zombies, that's it. Meh people are being far too harsh on this game, I'm happy with the £43 I spent, Took me 22 hours to finish the main storyline with only 60% completion. The online is really good aswell. The only thing it lacks is the ability to do co-op storymode. People need to remember DR1 and the others in the series. People look back with rose tinted glasses. Little things like voice actor change, etc is a bastard. I completed the game without dying a single time though, the only time I came close was in the final mission when I got down to

There's nothing wrong with stereotyping, as long as people are aware of exceptions and I think any rational person always considers that there may be an exception to a stereotype. By using the phrase "Normal Ubisoft type open world game", he was simply providing a point of reference for people to come to a conclusion about the type of open world game this is. So serious question: I've never played dead rising before but I've seen thousands of game plays of dead rising games and I love zombie games so is this a game that I can often play or is it gonna be like "There's nothing to do" like GTA if you get what I'm saying

I'd say you should definitely try the first and second dead rising. Those were true to the core. The rest is watered down garbage. Or try Dead Light.

Its Red Sky umm they are kinda like gta unless u have friends. I would say try DR3 since it's probably cheep by now and it's the one that most resembles DR4. if you like 3 you probably will like 4. but if not, you can always play 1 and 2.

its bs that they took away the co-op campaign it was the greatest thing about deadrising i mean dont get me wrong i love doing dumb shit on deadrising but doing dumb shit with a best friend is amazing funnest moments of my gaming history i will not be purchasing the new dead rising which really is disappointing because ive playes every deadrising.

the only way dead rising 4 can be good like the others- -make the durability of everything 90% shitier -make bosses like in the past games when they were a bit of a struggle and not like normal enemys -more fucking combo weapons -make the weapons do 90% less damage -make a mustard bottle that you can squeze out mustard -make a god damn multiplayer campaign -put the trowing mechanic back in
