It's nice that not everyone has given up, I damn near did. The 80s were great for me & music I like. Then a handful of bands came up, the Hives were one & I thought- finally!! Wrong again, yes I liked the Hives. They did a great cover of an underappreciayed Australian band, the Saints proto punk sound & Radio Birdman covering a great 13th floor elevators song

Sonic Youth meets The Brian Jonestown Massacre. It kinda reminds me of them, naturally. The pool of bands I’m currently listening to are Sonic Youth, Whirr, Dead Vibrations, Dead Horse One, Is Bliss, Experimental Aircraft, You Walk Through Walls, Nothing, Miserable,...Sonic Jesus is all in all quite okay. They fit in quite good - or do you have any bands which you can recommend? :-) Thank you! What influences did they have? I didn’t see any interview of them.
