I had a WHOLE SEASON of blanks, ten years ago... in February of that season... I caught my PB ... 28lbs... Celebrate the blanks... the good stuff isn't far behind !!... 😎👍☘️🍻

January this year has been particularly bad because of the weather. Hopefully we'll have a decent end to the season. Just a thought, regarding the slippery banks, have you tried using those spikes that you can strap on to your boots. I got some last year for fishing on the Trent, and was a game- changer for me, having slipped a few times. Look forward to your next videos.

I'm in the camp of staying put... ESPECIALLY on rivers, where your bait scent is carried away downstream... why confuse the fish by constantly re-casting and moving the bait ??...."build a better mousetrap and they will come" 😂.... Storm Eowyn has put a halt to my gallop as far as fishing is concerned... three quarters of a million households here without electricity and in many cases water too kinda puts life in perspective.. I suffered no damage personally apart from losing a few trees out back and, having a genny & kero heater, I was okay... spent the last 2 days repairing generators for neighbours... back fishing next weekend, hopefully I get good Karma... 🙄😂 tight lines Mark !!... 😎👍☘️🍻
