Very nice work, thank you, it's clear you've put a lot of time and effort into this - and what a busy man Sharpe is! Also props for getting the Tippoo Sultan and his jettis into dialogue even though he's not on film! I like the choice of the other "Over the Hills and Far Away" for this, and I thank you for the introduction to Lully!

I might be wrong but did you leave out Colonel Brand from Sharpe's Mission?

technically he only pushed Brand into the well. He could have survived.. And if we're to believe Sgt Harper, he jumped headlong into the wishing well ;-)
@Stickminbasi909 жыл бұрын
+swanlakegirl no way he survived: how do you climb out of that? and the fort was blown to bits and all, so it's not as if the French were going to find him. for the record though, he of course jumped into the wishing well :P

One of your 'kills', isn't a 'kill'. In the final battle of "Sharpe's 'Eagle'", there was one French Soldier that Sharpe, didn't 'kill'. He just KICKED the guy, IN THE BALLS. Sacre Bleu(balls)!

Stoping that soldier from reproducing, Average French person in 1800 having 3 children at least one would have been a son, he gets a future kill.

napoleon fought 60 battles winning 57 of them but in this series he has a useless army. Perhaps he was a greater military genius than we give him credit.

PETER GIBSON you’ve got to bear in mind whilst the conflict in Spain was going on Napoleon was busy with the Austrians and Russians after he left Spain in 1809-taking the creme de la crop of the Grande Armee with him Most of the troops sent to Spain would’ve been raw recruits or fresh conscripts barely old enough to enlist Napoleon himself didn’t consider the British army or the Spanish front to be a major threat- an attitude he came to later lament when he remembered the “Spanish ulcer” For saying that despite some inept troops that were sent it took the British and Spanish some 4 or so years 1809-1813 to drive the French from Spain so you have to give them some credit
@TheMicroaggressor4 жыл бұрын
Wellington didn’t lose a single battle in his life, and Sharpe followed him in every battle. So he never lost too. Wellington only fought Napoleon in the very end, he was mainly facing Victor, Soult, Massena, Jourden etc before.
