Another great interview, Matt! Thanks for highlighting this new documentary. I can’t wait to see it. I hope a distributor picks up the film soon. Thanks to PBS for its support of this film. Congratulations to Shoshannah Stern & Marlee Matlin & all involved in this important project. 🤟

Marlee looks great. I didnt realize she didnt talk at all. She used to have sounds and tried to talk. She looks great as a blonde and so much prettier as she is older. Looks like she made a beautiful family. Happy for her. So many of us arent even paying attention to one another when we speak. You can see how much deaf people have to pay attention to others.

Marlee, you have carried so much burden. It's never fair for you to be judged unless they know you so well. You're a beautiful soul. Shoshannah is a blessing! Thank you for being the hands speak (voice) of the talented deaf individuals! Love you both! Stay beautiful! ♥

Great candid interview highlighting on the film and Shoshanna whom I have known their parents back in the day and Marlee that I met back in the 80s at a small theatre in Berkeley. They certainly evolved into wonderful women whose contribution to theatre and accessibility speak volume. ❤

She does talk, but there’s a interpreter there so why bother talking the interpreter can talk for both of them, the thing that shocked me is I didn’t realize William hurt was such a abusive person 😮 it’s sad cuz he is a brilliant actor ugh 😩

@@jillgodfrey8445 I watched her movie made in the 80’s. She talks really well. Surprising she decided to stop talking.

@@debbiemartin2026it is amazing how you care if she talks with voice or hands. It is her choice, how she communicates. Voice talking is often forced on Deaf people since so many hearing people do not sign.
