I love D/P Dash Daredevil, and I always have a hard time choosing between Shadow Arts and Deadly Arts. I like them both. I personally have been taking Shadow Arts lately not because of the Stealth uptime, but because I really like the combination of Cloaked in Shadow and Flickering Shadow (combined with Smoke Screen over Blinding Powder). I know it isn't technically optimal for a Shadow Arts build, but I really like the style as it allows me to play really aggressive after a Backstab (at least more than usual) and Cloaked in Shadow is just fun. It makes for a really nice Shadow Arts build that isn't totally screwed if it gets revealed for too long.

50:41 You could do the old Hambow trick and swap weapons while the arrow is in the air. Not sure how often that would come up, but its there.

yea its possible, but not that useful since the icd is 20 anyway and youd get the quickness plenty from headshot or steal, maybe in a downstate situation when ur running out of steam to spam shortbow 4 u can swap to dagger autos after swapping mid sb 4

Really loving this series because I am trying to get back into roaming after taking a break. I main ranger and thief but am open to try something new. What would you consider to be the best 1vX class for solo roaming right now. I am looking for something that can hold it's own vs most other classes and is good at disengaging and not dying when outnumbered. I sometimes roam with 2 of my friends who are new to the game so I would love to have a bit of support or carry potential when we roam together.

you can use the aerodrome which is south of lions arch, you gotta be in a raid party to enter the practice golem area, but u can create your own and set it to 10 man raid and be the only person.

I play a D/P and I'm thinking to use the Superior Rune of Orr, which is identical to the antitoxin but the final bonus gives 10% extra health and for thief this is very useful. I dont understand why poeople dont mention this rune in any forum, is bad?

Look at the legend, so for Vallun, hes rank 3200 nearly. So he gets default +4, probably completes wood chest weekly so +1, in some of the clips he's outnumbered so +5. so thats +10 there, plus wherever his team is on the leaderboard at the time. So Could be a max of +15 based on what I said there.

Thanks for this guide. I was trying staff but I like the escape from this. Now just 2 more exotic pieces needed mara to finish. Still new to WvW but with some practice and the guide did l should be good start. Thanks again. Best way to get that set of armor would be some reward tracks? New sub 😌

but the burst is very simple, its backstab and press 2/3, the explanation is in how u get the modifiers to make those skill do dmg

it isnt outplay, its a counter, sd is better vs engis guards and tanky classes, not squishier ones

​@@hirukarucm1133It's always been like that, still is. Thief has am incredibly high skill cap, but also a very high skill floor. It's not welcoming to new players and especially today, as opposed to when you wrote this comment, there are almost no recent guides and information. The skill priority list for this build on Hardstuck literally says, "1. Meme 2. Meme 3. Meme 4. Meme 5. Meme". Very funny because people who need a guide are surely going to find it out by themselves with no issues. It's just one of the hardest classes in the game. That's how we end up like you described. Experience is key, practice makes perfect, but you do need to get the basics from someone. That's why I'm here today. Looking at >2 yrs. old Vallun guides, trying to transpose them to the recent patch to see what still works. Luckily in this case, it seems to be most of it. Even his most up to date guides on Guildjen don't really explain in detail how the build is really played in the first place. When I played my Necro again for the first time after my break, I almost cried because it was so much more powerful with the gameplay simultaneously being so much easier compared to my good old Thief, it was just sad😊 :D
