Deadly Groin Pain: Stranger Cases Diagnosing the atypical

Today, we have a 59 year old man with past medical history of hypertension and cigarette smoking, who is brought to the emergency department by EMS for acute onset right groin pain that radiates to the right foot.
The pain began while he was standing in line at a sporting event.
​He also reports paresthesias and a sensation of heaviness in the right leg and is currently unable to ambulate secondary to his symptoms.
Our patient in question didn't survive.

I had a type A Aortic Dissection with the tear at my valve that happened while asleep. The pain was so sever I shot up wide awake. I had no chest pain or back pain. All of my pain presented under my jaw and neck. Horrible sharp tearing pain. Like someone was trying to pull out all my nerves in my jaw and throat.
