I work with spiders and the "deadly spider black widow" and it's not so bad to be bitten by it but it can kill at Certain spots it's rare to be bit anywhere and if you do your most likely just going to go through small pains for a couple days and it's rare for that to and my favorite is the daddy long legs because it's safe and you can barely feel the bite for a couple seconds but it's cool over all but most spiders are neutral and won't bite let alone hurt you for a week with a single bet but this is a ok set up but it could have a test tube of water and a cotton swab at the end to give them water

Are you talking about the Harvestmen? or celler dwellers ( both Commonly known as daddy long legs ) cause NEITHER one would pose even a SLIGHT threat to the redback....the harvestman is an arachnid but not a spider....the harvestmen itself has had a widely known urben legend myth about it for years...supposedly some people think its the most venomous spider ever...NOT TRUE! the harvestman ISNT a spider, has NO venom and STRICTLY eats aphids...hence the name harvestman cause farmers love them...there is no way for them to bite you period....just do some research if you dont believe me...as for the celler dweller idk...i dont know much about that spider other than the fact they are my favorite friends to have in summer in my house...they take care of mosquitos and flys like NO other and keep to themselves...seemingly they dont bite either...i pick them up and put them outside if i find them wandering

This has been REALLY fascinating to watch!! I've thoroughly enjoyed it! I'd like to see what happens if you can find a bullant or a larger fighter ant (or 5 or 6) and put them in there. Best way to draw fighter ants out is to put chunky food near an established ant trail (or leave a fresh dead animal). The long bug with the pincers/teeth on its back is called an earwig (we get loads of them this time of year in southern south australia, not sure about wherever you are), comes with its very own "crawls into your ear while you sleep" childrens horror tale. Keep it up!

I've been out in the volcanic rocks in our backyard...using my wife's tweezers to catch various red back spiders: including a male, a juvenille female, a tradtional female and one strange one that looks and acts exactly like a redback but without a red stripe...she had an egg sac which I cooked using a gas stove lighter and it made a smell like burning hair. It was full of spiderlings. Creepy bastards! Please continue the videos. Loving your work.

There are videos of praying mantises interacting with red backs/black widows/brown recluses/other deadly spiders, and in every case the mantis does everything it can to stay out of the spiders way.
