One passenger died and dozens were injured after a Singapore Airlines flight from London hit severe turbulence and was forced to make an emergency landing in Bangkok. Andrew Chang explains what makes this type of turbulence both invisible and dangerous.
CORRECTION (June 25, 2024): A previous version of this video incorrectly linked a controlled drop with a turbulence event at 1:34 and 1:58. In fact, the drop was in reaction to the turbulence. These two parts of the video have been trimmed.
