Just in the nick of time! I've been up all night with a sick dog and we just lost one of our older cats on the 10th. November is sucking this year. I'm waiting for the Vet's office to open. I’ve been deep into the Kiamichi mountains a few times. The thing I’ve always found a bit unsettling is that despite how remote it was, at a certain point, there is zero wildlife. I mean not even a damn squirrel. In a certain area I’ve been, it’s completely quiet. I grew up in the forests of East Texas. Whenever it goes quiet in a place nature has no reason to be afraid, I certainly have a reason to be.
