Plexis Yeah, got it! Amazing machine! I have two problems with it: 1. I can’t stop playing 2. When I did, I want to play even more 😉 Seriously, it is a wonderful instrument. I still need to find out how it will fit in my musical life, but maybe I will mold my musical life around it

Yeah, I know these "problems" :D You just get completely lost in this beautiful sound and don't even realize how many hours are passing by. Never had this with any other synth. And even if you don't really use it for tracks, the time is certainly not wasted if you enjoy playing with the Sub :)

Is there a way to get the preset to work if you don’t own the Sub37? I really like this sound. Steady bass with a modulated top. I don’t understand how you got that and the key you were holding wasn’t such a high note at first. Is it a key split? How would I make this in alchemy, for instance?

Thank you! :) The Sub 37 is paraphonic, so you can play 2 notes at a time. Each note is played by one oscillator then.

I don't think that's possible. The most awesome thing about the Sub 37 is it's unique duo mode sound (in combination with the multidrive), so for a sound like this you will have to get one... But maybe you can get somethin similar with an external overdrive. I can't try because I sold my minilogue, sorry.

All the sound is coming from one patch of the Sub 37 in this video. It's the duo mode, which allows you to play paraphonic (one oscillator per note).

+CK Chao I don't know the model 15 app, but as it's a modular synthesizer I think it can't play duophonic. You have to get a Sub 37 I think :P

I can't really tell you anything about the differences in sound, as I don't own the Subsequent 37. But there are some videos on KZbin that directly compare both synth. What I read so far is that the Subsequent 37 has more headroom in the mixer and the multidrive goes "further", so you'll be able to make the sound more gritty.
