These two movies (Rec 1 and Rec2) are my favorite horror films of all time. If they would have shorted the introduction scenes in Rec 1 and eliminated the teenagers in Rec2 and edited them into a single movie you would have had 1 incredible film. And I don't know why he's talking like Rec2 wasn't as good as Rec 1. If anything, it was even better, which is quite an accomplishment.

I just realised that Angela was only in the hotel for a few hours. At the end of REC 2, it shows the end scene from REC 1 where Tristana dragged her to a door. Then it shows after dragging, she passed the parasite to Angela, we hear the voices of the GEO team as they first enter. Then after she uses Dr Owen's voice to order Lucas, Guzman and the other two soldiers from REC 4 to rescue her, which they do. So actually, she's been trapped for a night. Edit: I was just saying it, because I was glad it was not for years or something.

What would make this even scarier would be adding heartbeats to the top left of the sequence. Allow me to explain. For all of the specials ops agents, they could've had another "fake" piece of equipment to show the heartbeats (or they could make it real, who knows) and once they got infected, they would flatline, but then their heartbeats would start back up with another, scarier signal (when their heart actually beats). If they kept the camera angle of the infected agent, it would add a lot of dramatic effect and suspense as the audience watches as their infected brethren jumpscares the humans. Just a thought imo for any future remakes out there.

I love how the directors tightened the focus on the religious nature of the infection without going off the rails when compared to the original. After all, if the story follows a natural progression of finding out what the infection/possession is about, why wouldn’t they explore supernatural elements revealed at the end of the first one? It’s an amazing way to spice up your sequel while still feeling as a natural progression of the first film. Props to the writers.

He's mistaken by a "good old boy" for a zombie & they shoot him through a window. He is the leader of the group, the main character a total badass, & the only black character in the movie. They didn't even bother to check if he was one or not. It to this day pissed me off.
