I'm convinced that the Thor-Deadpool scene is far more important than we realize and that Paradox was just a pawn for a bigger figure. There was really no reason to rescue Wade from his universe unless he has a greater purpose in the future (as that five seconds of movie alluded to). Paradox knew this.

I also like that Hunter B15 said she would see what she could do to help "the others" (Blade, Elektra, Gambit, X-23). I think this is a good setup for a future series; The Exiles. In the comics there were some aliens that moved into some time facility and messed up the timeline. So they put together a humanoid looking holographic interface (kind of like Miss Minutes) and they pulled different variants throughout the multiverse together to help fix what they broke. I think Deadpool and Wolverine is the perfect setup but with a twist from the comic origins. If the TVA's new mantra is to NO longer prune branched timelines, then I would argue the same guilt that drove them to that decision should also guilt them into trying to find a home for anything still living in the void. And so, I think an Exiles team could be put together to do that. Essentially they have to travel to different worlds and change one thing that will allow the insertion of a variant from the void to live out their existence within that world without upsetting it's overall chronology. This could also make for a good animated series that could takeover after the 3rd season of What If...? or work in conjunction with it.

I had the same thought while watching this movie on KZbin earlier (yes, it was on KZbin briefly today) and was thinking it would be fun to have them come back later for a team up. Snipes Blade, Laura X-23, Gambit (who I wanna see more of), and Gardner Elektra. They can show up in Secret Wars. It doesn't seem like Mahershala Ali Blade is ever gonna happen.

My favorite thing from Deadpool and Wolverine was seeing one of my favorite’s Blade, especially since it was OG Blade Wesley Snipes and his quip about “theres only ever been one Blade, and there’s only ever gonna be one Blade”. I think this is more of just a quip and was added in reshoots because he really will be the MCU Blade moving forward. And technically the TV show Blade was based on Wesley Snipes Blade as the show was helmed by the same exact director and producers of the Movie, and was supposed to exist in the same universe. So in all technicality there has only been one version of Blade portrayed on screen, the Wesley Snipes Blade. Sticky Fingers was just a cheap knockoff for the TV series because they couldn’t afford the salary Snipes would want. Sticky Fingers played Wesley Snipes version of Blade.

@@sethurott9927 Thats not confirmed. Technically theres still a contract, but that contract was for the movie that was canceled recently. So technically he is no longer under contract. And they would not have allowed Wesley Snipes, and Ryan Reynolds to slip that line into the movie if there was not truth to it. And the fact they made a point at the end of the movie for Hunter B-15 to get those characters out of the void, and back to their timelines also suggest they have future uses for them in the MCU, most likely Secret Wars for the Endgame style battle that it will ultimately end on.

Good point. Paradox wants Deadpool to be his man in the 616 universe, just like Pyro was in the Void, so he's stringing him along. We see the other 100 Deadpools are all just psychos, but this one wants to be a hero, and that makes him useful to Paradox to infiltrate the Avengers.

I really enjoyed the movie. Anytime a movie can make me feel like a kid, it's a good thing. When Jackman puts on the mask, I was grinning and having to control my nerdy self haha! I loved it! Sometimes the jokes didn't land for me, but the most part, I had a good time. Channing Tatum's Gambit was great as well. He shot out of his dad's balls ready!!

Deadpool & Wolverine ends back in 2024 in universe 10005, which now seems to be the designation for the WHOLE Fox X-franchise. Logan was set in 2029, in what was originally supposed to be its own universe but now we're told was also reality 10005. Basing this on Dafne Keene's age, Laura is 11 in 2029 when Logan does, and seemingly 18 when she leaves the void at the end of DP&W. This means that at the end of the movie, universe 10005 now has... - OG Wolverine who will die in five years time. - 6 year old Laura who is still a secret. - Alternate Wolverine in the blue and yellow suit. - 18 year old Laura who we met in the void.

How can the end of deadpool 2 take place after loki season 2, if loki season 2 set up the TVA to no longer prune and we find out that after deadpool 2, deadpool went to Happy of 616 in Mar 2018 and Vanessa says later "it's been six years since they rejected you" meaning deadpool and wolverine takes place in 2024. I mean, if the TVA exists outside of time, then I suppose the events of Loki could really be at any point in time. and the events of Deadpool could really be at any point in time both by the perspective of the TVA which though they monitor time, they are not bound by it.

WOW! Deadpool and Wolverine was amazing movie. I was laughing so hard I started to cry when Deadpool was dancing to Bye Bye Bye. Deadpool and Wolverine is definitely the best out of the 3 Deadpool movies. Deadpool and Wolverine made it to my top 5 favorite MCU movies. Top 5 MCU movies 1. The Avengers 2. Avengers Endgame 3. When I heard that Fox was going to make a Gambit movie starting Channing Tatum as Gambit, I wasn't happy that Channing Tatum was going to be Gambit. Then when it got canceled, I was very happy. Fox could have gotten a better actor for Gambit. So when I saw Channing Tatum as Gambit in Deadpool and Wolverine I was shocked to say I was so wrong. I got so excited seeing Channing Tatum in Gambit classic suit. Damn Channing Tatum was BADASS as Gambit. Thank you, Channing Tatum and MCU, for providing me wrong. It was awesome to see Chris Evans and Jennifer Garner as Johnny Storm and Elektra. Elektra movie back in 2005 was an ok movie. Really hope we get to see Captain America and Johnny Storm met each other in Avengers Secret Wars. Hope we see Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck Daredevil and Elektra in Avengers Secret Wars. And Chris Evans and his Fantastic 4 in Avengers Secret Wars also. Like how Deadpool met Happy Hogan. I was hoping Deadpool would make a Foggy joke. I love all of Deadpool 4th wall breaking. Fuck Fox I'm going to Disneyland was the best one. I still think Henry Cavill should be cast as Captain Britain for MCU. Love the easter egg of Hulk vs Wolverine. We need a Hulk vs Wolverine movie. I've said this before and I'll say it again. Vanessa is Mistress Death. Her and Deadpool are not together bc he stopped killing people. Meaning the more people he kills the hotter she'll be for him. By saving his universe all he has done is put them on a path with other universes which will result in billions of people dying making Mistress Death grow stronger. Mistress Death was also kid Gamora that asked Thanos if he did it. But bc the Avengers undid the snap she lost her souls meaning she lost some of her powers. Which is why she said she was middle management now. The guy she said she was seeing Dermon. Take the R out and you get Demon and the R could be for Rot. The kid her and Thanos have together.

Can somebody point out how poetic is that all Wade wanted was to matter the whole movie and it ends with him having to literally grab a physical matter energy core to do it. But I agree about Paradox except it would make more sense if he was working for somebody else and my only complaint about the movie is it would have hit so much harder if you had a scene post credit where Kang or better yet because they just announced him, Doom came into the TVA to talk to Paradox asking what went wrong, showing it was one of them behind him the whole time. Also I don’t think Paradox made the Time Ripper it was likely Kang Tech or better yet Ouroboros who I really wish would have cameod.

I also find it interesting that both Wolverine and Deadpool's healing factors are essentially NEVER turned off. If Wolverine's was turned of he would die of adamantium poisoning so his factor must be constantly working to combat that. If Deadpool's was turned off he would die of cancer so his factor must be constantly working to combat that.

Love the thoughts here. Couple things I’d add: - the colors of matter and antimatter correspond with Blue Marvel and Anti-Man - had the thought that paradox may be a Loki variant trying to usurp the God of Stories place ( he wants to take over and, the Thor/Deadpool set up could be a misdirected clue) - I think Deadpool Prime is important because he’s the only one who’s aware of the meta reality and this is the only one who can 4th wall break fully and heal. Nicepool couldn’t regenerate, but was the only other one we saw “lightly” break the 4th wall

An amazing movie. Best (by far) in a long time and the cameo's were top notch... X23, Electra, Gambit, Blade ... bringing these characters forward into a truly violent world that needs them individually and collectively to do what they do best. i find it funny and increasingly sad that people are still confusing Timelines and Universes. they are not the same. a Universe can have multiple timelines. Same thing with Dimensions - Each Timeline has it's own Dimensions. There is a Mirror Dimension that Strange uses and that dimension has variants in every timeline in that Universe and Each Universe has their own variants of that Dimension. Think of Universes as Books. You can copy that book word for word and change a single letter. that change is a new timeline. it's copy of a book, but very slightly different. But if you take a second book, with completely different name and plot, then it is a different Universe. "Song of Ice and Fire" is a different Book than "Sedivore: Dawn of Ryn". So they are different Universes, but each draft of "Sedivore: Dawn of Ryn" would be a different Timeline.

So when I saw the Deadpool/Thor scene, the impression I got was that God of Stories Loki has shown us his chosen replacement as the Agent of Chaos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, while he holds the multiverse together. In the end, it's going to be up to the Russos to decide whether or not this was a red herring by Paradox, or a glimpse into the future of Secret Wars. Side note: Time Ripper = Ultimate Nullifier? Sure sounds like one. 🤔
