I personally remember him most as Martin Walker in Spec Ops: The Line, the first shooter game that actually made me feel bad for shooting things. If I could connect these two games, I’d say Deadpool is an alternate version of Walker who after getting out of Dubai assumed the alias Wade Wilson after the inevitable military coverup of what happened in that game and Deadpool’s origin plays out as normal. The main difference would be that his Deadpool would occasionally have flashbacks to what happened in Spec Ops, and the voices in his head could represent Lugo and Adams, and it shouldn’t be hard to tell which voices represent each of them.
