I've never seen that guy before but I never imagened to hear someone talk so clearly, informative and - well - funny about his journey with cancer 😮 The fun part was a little weird for shure but it's best to stay positive. Great way of telling this story. Wish you the best, mate.

Total sympathy & prayers for Chris and his battle with Cancer🙏- Now, video @ 12:46 "you have to get it serviced every year" Huh? - I'm a Leica technician; NO LEICA requires a service every year. Or even once a Decade‼- Like a fine Rolex watch, *take care of your Leica and they'll go 20 years between service intervals... * Always RELEASE the shutter when you store it, don't allow contamination from high humidity, liquid, sand or debris. And of course don't subject it to shock or impact (dropping etc.)

That C330, there's a 3D model adapter available on the internet to adapt a 45° prism finder from the Hasselblad 5xx or the Kiev 88. My neck is crap, so I bought a brand new Kiev 88 metered prism from Hartblei and I love it. I also swapped the C330's screen for an Olsen with a 45-degree prism.

My Mamiya 6 died within a couple weeks of having it. Thankfully the seller just had it serviced, so the place that serviced it repaired it for free.

So damn good to see Chris in this element. Was so damn hard watching after his C diagnosis; I fully respect how he dealt with and documented that, but was extremely triggering for me and had to disengage. Thats me, not him. This has been just awesome to watch.

Genuine question - why don’t labs scan with a GFX? My scans take seconds, and are comparable (slightly better in my eyes) than Flextight. Can get 400mp scans in seconds.
@ThePhotoDeptАй бұрын
probably a bunch of factors, there's certainly a good case for it, but I think for the majority of people, they are getting smaller scans to post to social media, so the perceived quality would be sports wasted. I scan with a 5DSR and love not, 50mp 35mm scans look fantastic, but I have to scale em down to post to insta.

@@ThePhotoDept I love you man. I was going with the "you're fucked" vibe. Obviously I'm glad to see you're doing well. For whatever it's worth I did contribute to your gofundme account.
