The biggest cameo by far was Blade. My audience erupted into a loud roar and appluase when he showed up and again when he said " There's only ever going to be one Blade" ❤❤❤❤😊😊😊. People forget Ryan Reynolds was in Blade 3...thats where he first joined Marvel.

To me though, the only one of those that really counts is Cavil's Wolverine... a "cameo" is a famous person appearing in a minor bit part. I guess it's fair to call them "character cameos" but still kinda weird considering that even a character cameo would typically refer to a unique character, and not an alternate version of a main character played by the same actor. Like... by that metric, you may as well consider the 2012 Avengers in Endgame as cameos... because they are alt. versions of the main cast.

A lot of these weren't really "cameos" in the traditional sense. They were full-on supporting (if minor) character reprisals. When you have five or six scenes plus a slow-mo action sequence, that's not a cameo. Cavilrine was a cameo; Blade and Elektra were not.

When I saw Elektra and X-23 I was really REALLY hoping they were going to play a game of "Who's the better killer?" during the montage. I wish they'd gotten more comradery shown between them considering who they are and what they do and it would have just been awesome to see having a Legolas/Gimli kind of rivalry when it came to getting the kills at the end. I like what we got, but as I mentioned, during the fight scene at Cassandras base, they should've given Elektra and X-23 more screentime. Elektras outfit should've been her red one as well as it was hard for some people to even find her in the crown of action. I would've had Elektra fight Deathstrike, Psylocke and Callisto. I agree that the Sabretooth and Wolverine fight should have been longer too.

I'm very happy we got the cameos we did for the sole reason that they left the Fox movies legacy alone. "Days of Future Past" & "Logan" were perfect celebrations of those movies. It serves this movie way better to stick with the cameos they did. Thay way those other movies can stay in their perfect bubble forever. It actually takes a lot of guts for the creatives not to go overboard with the cameos and toys because they could have done so much more, but in service of the movie, they didn't.

I think because by having Deadpool seeing footage of Captain America earlier in the film, then showing his shield in the dust when they first get into the Void, it subconsciously put the idea of Captain America into the audience's mind.

When the Deadpool corp arrived my eyes were darting back and forth looking for Gwenpool and I was disappointed because I did not see her! What an odd omission, since she has fought Deadpool in the comics by this point, at least once. I mean, it’s not because Gwenpool is a kid either, kids, babies and animals show up to take on Deadpool and Wolverine, as well. Is she too powerful? Would it have hurt to have a bit more reality bending multiverse action? Would it have been _too clever_ for her character to mess with the film (ala Fight Club) or peel away part of the screen to enter or exit the fray? It’s the kind of thing I was hoping for! Oh well, Blade was a big surprise! I do wish Elektra was in her red costume, otherwise I do think they did comics accurate Wolverine, dirty. I’ll never give up on my dream for short king Wolverine! Comics accurate Wolverine fighting the Hulk, what I would give to have an extended Wolverine vs Hulk battle on the big screen! Give me that! Great Stuff, as always! Edit: I think the budget wasn’t big enough for this movie. They could have littered the screen with more Marvel characters (without actor cameos) and I’m sad there were no more CG super heroes outside of a few shots of Colossus, but they did well with what budget they did have. It’s a shame the company with the deepest pockets just doesn’t want to go the extra mile anymore, and just push their streaming service. I like what we got, a lot actually, but I don’t care much for the TVA. Having that organization in the spotlight only reveals the degree to which Disney is stingy while lacking confidence. It’s all pervasive throughout this film. I’ll never stop saying that animation is the way Disney should go with Marvel content, that’s becoming more and more of a reality, everyday. Even this film was basically a cartoon.

Who is to say they didn't try? Famke Janssen and Halle Berry both told Fox to get lost with Logan back in 2017. Maybe 7 years wasn't enough time for them to warm up to the idea of reprising their roles.

I loved Deadpool/Wolverine... it was a blast and a worthy third film. The Cameos were awesome! I am team Tony... I never could understand how 🤔 anyone could defend the Captain/Bucky angle either.🤷🏻‍♂️

I was happily surprised which each character!!!! I LOVED IT!!!! I felt like a kid watching this movie!

What if the original cast members scenes are saved for a "Rogue cut"esque version of the film. With Deadpool referring to them as his overbudget castmates and former colleagues who had to step aside for more time with his bud Wolverine.😂 Once the movie gets released, we get this "Deadpool "+ some cutscenes for fans' sake" cut "😂😂😂 😝

I think they should've gotten rid of Sabertooth and Pyro. Instead they should've put either Ian McKellen or Halle Berry as the more true meaningful cameo like Blade and Johnny Storm. No one from the casual audience in my screenings seemed to either get or like Channing as Gambit. They did seem to enjoy Cavill though as a shot at DC. Also, Taylor Swift appearing in this film would've been appreciated by those viewers as well.
