I look forward to watching the MCU finally implode with Avengers: Doomsday when they realize that they have to try to "have their cake and eat it too" with Deadpool. They'll let Deadpool be Deadpool for now, but for the sake of Box Office receipts in the long run, they'll feel like they need to bleep his cursing and continue "breaking the 4th wall" by making it so only Deadpool himself can actually hear the bleeps within the movie in Avengers 5. And even then, Avengers 5 will probably be so unbearably tame that it won't work with Deadpool in it. Because Disney will (probably) not let Marvel have Deadpool make even one joke about Robert Downey Jr.'s return as Doctor Doom, when he should have just "died" as Iron Man and stayed "dead." Deadpool literally began his latest movie by digging up Wolverine and using his bones as weapons. Are we supposed to believe that he wouldn't do the same damn thing (or worse) to Iron Man, given even a tenth of a chance? Come on, Disney!!!

Idk how this movie is getting so much praise and smashing records in the box office. It wasn't even that good. Yay, they have "comic book accurate" suits and pay homage to certain events in the comics, but overall this movie was terrible! It had so much potential to be amazing, but it was just a senseless hack and slash with a crappy storyline that barely made sense. Why is it so important that it's R rated? It seems like a main focus for modern marvel films. It's completely missing the mark of any kind of emotional connection or plot that an audience can relate to. I feel like it was poor story-telling and like a money-grab. I was so excited to see this film. My gf and I went to see it and were both disappointed. It was the same reaction I had to Spider-Man: Homecoming, which was also really bad, but received good reviews. I recently watched the original X-Men films and man they don't make them like that anymore. It's all about blood and comedy. There's no actual story or message for the audience anymore. Anyway, that's my piece about it. I don't enjoy writing negative reviews, but I feel like something needed to be said and put out there. All the best 🤙🏽
