Won't spoil it, but while this was a love letter to lifelong fans with lots of amazing visuals and surprises, in giving us all of that the story and plot got neglected. There were some great acting moments but it'll be remembered for certain things and not others. It won't save the MCU but it lays out so much potential for hope and future growth.

Respectfully disagree. Ideology and focus is shifted in this movie. It retools focus on why fans actually love seeing these movies. It’s a step in the right direction.

Mmmmm no. This movie is made by MCU but its all about nostalgic FOX properties. It was fun to see cameos and stuff but there is no story that to help in some way for Phase 5 in MCU. This movie was just taking all leftover fans from FOX to join MCU

Phase 5 needs it's own story. They need to take the approach of making great movies that fit the characters in them. You need heart and you need characters the audience roots for.

The reason MCU was so successful was movies with less known charcters like Guardianes of the Galaxy and Dr Strange, Ant Man did well. The MCU will only back if the likes of Agatha, Captian America 4 and Thunderbolts all perofrm well with the audiiance , critically and commercially. Otherwise, we could see a patten where Marvel has had a couple of hits like Spiderman, Guardians of the Galxay, 3 , Loki , only to be followed up failures like Secret invaion and the Marvels.

I like mashed potatoes. The question is not, for us, the audience: "Has Deadpool and Wolverine saved MCU?" Excuse me? "Thor: Love and Thunder"? "Ms. Marvel"? "Antman 3"? (what a terrible, terrible thing to do to Antman: seriousify that fun, light-hearted franchise!) MCU has been dead since "Avengers: Endgame" and good riddance! They, 100%, brought this upon themselves. "Deadpool and Wolverine" should be judged upon its own merits, not what the lion's share of the conversation in this review (a topic which disappointed me grievously: why beat this dead horse, please?) If there's any question around this tentpole, it should have been this: "Is 'Deadpool and Wolverine' a fitting last huzzah to the MCU?" MCU started with Iron Man and ended with Deadpool. Was it a good run? I think it was. Are we done with the MCU? I think we are. I think we have been for a long, long time. Proof? She-Hulk.

Fun movie. Too long, too many story line/exposition. I enyoyed it but the tones and coflicting directions are as far removed as the title characters. Worth watching but hit and miss.

It was better than the 2nd I thought it was fun but the jokes got tiring and the whole explanation to why Wolverine is the way he is was a cop out. The villain also made no sense
