This makes sense and I can see this happening. I guess this would even also explain why this section of the TVA looks different than the other sections we see in Loki seasons 1-2. We already saw Dox lead a group of old head loyalist TVA agents that couldn't see past Kang's lies. So, it makes sense that some of the loyalists would see that Loki is just too powerful now to be stopped directly and it would be in their best interests to bring in someone fresh to take Loki down indirectly. I'm assuming Deadpool will realize that he's doing more harm than good somewhere in the second act, which could be when he's sent to the Void where he reunites with Wolverine.

Since Owen Wilson was confirmed to return as Mobius shortly after Deadpool & Wolverine was announced, I can see a point in the third act where Mobius shows up in the Void to meet Deadpool & Wolverine and take them back to the TVA so they can kill the loyalists since he already has seen what Dox and her platoon did to the Scared Timeline. Though, I don't know if he'll actually have the technology to actually send Deadpool & Wolverine to the end of time so they can meet Loki and discuss what's happening in the multiverse at the end of the film.

I'd be surprised if it dives that deep into the events of Loki. The movies rarely do that with the shows. Look at Dr. Strange 2. He goes to meet Wanda for the first time and the events in Westview are just handwaved away. How much of Ms. Marvel is talked about in the Marvels? Not much. Secret Invasion wasn't mentioned at all. The GotG Holiday Special isn't brought up in vol. 3 either.

Exactly! I think in order to make more plausible theories, this channel and its writers need to realize that the movies will always, justifiably or not, assume that general audiences did not watch or remember the Disney+ tv shows that built up to the movies, which in addition to the overlapping production schedules is why they always appear to "reset" the characters in the movies despite wherever they last left off in the show. At best we get a hand waving of the shows events. Hell I bet that in Cap 4, we will get a quick 2-3 sentence recap as to why he's in the suit and has the shield, no mention of the flagsmashers or Sharon or Walker or potentially even Bucky.

I definitely believe that the "Sacred Timeline" was a bundle of multiple nearly identical timelines rather than literally one single timeline; after all, if the TVA was OK with the Avengers' time heist then that means they were OK with at least one alternate timeline existing where Captain America lived out his life alongside Peggy (and quite possibly with another timeline's Steve secretly living in the main MCU's timeline with her all along).

I think the story is going to be more straightforward. So much of the movie will be focused on the dynamic between Deadpool and Wolverine that I don't think they'll have the time for a plot that's too complicated. It'll probably be something like Cassandra Nova trying to get into the TVA so she can build a supercharged Cerebro and use it to mind control entire universes. And the TVA is trying to stop her but her psychic powers are too strong so they need Deadpool, who's too crazy to be mind controlled.

My take on the story: The TVA is letting the Fox universe die, following on from Wolverine's death in Logan, who had been key to that universe staying alive. They try to remove Deadpool from that universe to speed up it's death, but Deadpool decides he needs to save the Fox universe and travels the multiverse to get a new Wolverine to replace Logan. He'll meet lots of Wolverines and other fox universe people, eg, Blade (Wesley Snipes version, not the new guy!)

Yeah, I feel like despite her role in the comics, Cassandra Nova being a villain in any aspect of the Multiverse saga would make zero sense at this point, there's just absolutely no build up for it, and the conceit that she would work as a villain in this saga because "well comics!" is just not enough for general film going audiences to latch onto. Personally I hope everyone theorizing Cassandra Novas potential involvement in any of these upcoming projects is just wrong, I hope the marvel screenwriters are better than that kind of out of left field "fan service", fan theories don't always make good cinema.

Are you sure about Vanessa? My take on her calling him “buddy”, is that they aren’t broken up, she’s from a universe where she never met Wade. She’s a variant. His Vanessa was killed by the TVA after his timeline was pruned for his actions in Deadpool 2. They’ve been following him since then, and he’s been killing them, running to new timelines with a stolen temppad. He’s been stealing variants of his loved ones. I believe Wade tried to trick himself into being ok with this for a while, but he’s honestly pretty heartbroken about it. Because none of these people are actually his friends. Just variants. He’s been on the run for years. By the time the TVA show up in the trailer, Wade is tired, and ready to be captured. Meanwhile, the TVA have also upgraded in response to Wade frequently killing them.

This is Fox/XMen time travel rules so they could be variants but Deadpool could have also just rewritten his own timeline (as so often happens with Bishop and Cable, etc). So there is no confirmation as to whether they are from the same universe or variants, certainly not enough evidence to suggest that your "he's been killing TVA agents and on the run for years" theory is even close accurate. Plus, in the snippet of the footage that was screened, Paradox literally said that this has nothing to do with his time traveling at the end of DP2. So this is likely to be a whole new story unrelated to DP2's irreverent time travel shenanigans
