them becoming roommates at the end is so special to me. Logan himself says to Cassandra that “they called after me and i walked away. i always walk away” and then when wade calls his name he STAYS. HE TURNS AROUND AND HE STAYS WITH HIM. and how everyone he’s ever loved has died, often at his hand or either-wise in a way that he blames himself. he thinks all he is is a monster. but deadpool cant die. he can take every punch and stab and get right back up smiling. they can sleep next to each other on that shitty pullout couch and when logan wakes up with nightmares, claws out, wade will be there to talk him down and show him that he’s alright, he’s alive, everything is okay, they are safe. theyre perfect for each other.

This franchise was epic! Hugh Jackman was amazing. The cameos were great. I had to watch this a couple of times to catch all the jokes and references because I laughed so much. I had to look up what a “day player” meant, and what the heck was an Enya (box set)! lol This was fun to watch w/ you! Thanks. 👍🏻

15:48 In the comics, Wolverine is something like 5 foot nothing. Hugh Jackman is a massive 6'2". Hence why Deadpool said "comic accurate short king." Hell, in the comics he's shorter than Jubilee, and she's not exactly tall.

@@JrocksAndDevinity If you haven't watched Avengers Infinity War and Avengers Endgame, and any of the previous movies leading up to them you should before watching the Loki TV series, even if it's not recorded, that is very important if you're going to watch that show, it directly follows the events of the last 2 Avengers movies, of course from Loki's perspective.

@@JrocksAndDevinity That works, yeah it's very important to get through to Endgame before Loki. I wouldn't skip any of the MCU movies to be honest, not necessarily for Loki but definitely for Endgame, many references and callbacks to most of the 23 movies from phases 1-3. WandaVision is also very, very good, probably up there as the best MCU TV show, with Loki a close second... You don't need to watch WandaVision before Loki, even though it came out before, it can be watched after.

This movie was pretty great. its only downside is that if your not a super nerd that's seen every super hero movie under Disney and 20th Century Fox, you end up missing some of the deeper cuts. Like Chris Evans showing up as Johnny Storm and not Steve Rogers. Ppl forget that those Fantastic 4 movies existed.

It’s honestly really surprising to learn that people really forgot those versions of the fantastic 4. I literally grew up with the ‘original’ cast, and there was no all I could envision whenever I thought of the characters for the longest time. And still to this day.

I think it's more of a generational thing where if you're a millennial or older you're more likely to have seen the movies and thus remember/know. I wouldn't expect Gen Z to be as likely to have seen them and thus know or remember though. Of course, as with every general grouping made, there are outliers to the expected. When they first introduced the multiverse in the MCU, I personally thought early on that they'd at some point do a Chris Evans is Johnny Storm not Captain America bit using the multiverse because, well, it seemed something obvious to do.

I took my nephew to see this in my local theater, about two blocks away. I only did it because I found out there was no nudity. The kid plays video games online, I’m sure the violence and language is not a big deal. It’s sad to think he is desensitized. I digress, after the film, we got up and the dude with his family next to me said “You gotta wait for the after credits.”. Nice gentleman. In my defense, I am a devout Christian and I told my nephew to not repeat any of those words in school (sports and playground are open to trash talk).You both are looking great, obviously Devinity better.
